Happiness

Hello, I have a situation. I recently sent a few Pokemon to Emerald, from Sapphirre. I wanted to duplicate them, so I can send the clones to DP, hile I keep the originals in RS. They used to have the maximum happiness level with me, Excellent, but now it reset since it went to another game...

Does anyone have some tips on how I can get it back up there quicker? They are at LV 100, with all the vitamins and such given to them than they can take. Thank you!

Use them in battle often, don't let it faint, give it items to hold, things like that.

Thing is, using them in battle didn' do muh for me. I checked on Pokemon Box, and it still said 'Meager'. Then I decided to beat the Elite Four with them, and it went to 'So-So'. Even when I had Soothe Bells on all five of them, it only went up to 'So-So' after a long time of battling, and one Elite Four visit...

Just walk when you have them in your team. The happiness lv changed because you (the other game) were the original trainer, there it was happy

I want to max Happiness, because I just want to. It gives you a sense of satisfaction, and a nice warm feeling inside. I know its just a game, but I am supposed to have fun with it, aren't I?

use berries like kelpsy but on stats you didn't EV

Yes Return as well. Although, I don't use it on a lot of my Pokemon, only a select few. But, if I ever needed to, I would be able. This is not like netbattle where I can manufacture Pokemon, so I need to take precaution.

I heard somehwere else that giving them berries would help, but I am not sure if I want to ruin their contest stats either, just to make them like me faster. For example, I wouldn't want to make me Slowbro Smart class, when he should be Beauty class.

You only increase contest stats with pokeblocks. You only need the berrys themselve, not blended. Use a pure kelpsy berry or other berry wich lowrs the EV's o a stat you din't EV train.
