Yep, tomorrow (21st October) is the 7th Anniversary of the creation of Serebii.net.
I'm not going to do anything special but a quick rundown of SPP History May be in order
1999
Just got the internet and decided to start a website which I promptly did
March 2000
Getting around 100 Hits a day, I accidentally deleted the entire site (Don't Ask). Within a week I rebuilt everything. Got hosted by thepokeleague.net
June 2000
Brief Scuffle with Psypoke...became affiliated, staff and booted in a matter of days
September 2000
The domain; Serebii.net was purchased and we were hosted by the alternate PPN (PP-Network)
May 2001
Overused that server with abour 3,000 Unique and got hosted by Pokeball.net
September 2001
Killed that server
February 2002
Kwesi of The Unknown Dungeon and Steve from PPN begun hosting me
November 2002
Coverage of RS's launch Started on November 20th and came to an abrupt end on November 21st when...we killed another server breaking the 10,000 Unique mark
March 2003
Came back up, Sinko kindly paid for our hosting from this point and we continued to cover all aspects of Pokémon
November 2003
With the assistance of Latios & Coronis, we covered the release of the first 3D RPG; Colosseum which started making people notice the site more
December 2003
Serebii.net starts a new tradition that is now copied by most Pokémon sites, the Advent Calendar, providing many goodies for Trainers everywhere

FireRed & LeafGreen were released and covered by SPP causing people to flock to Serebii.net for their in-game news

Serebii.net Reveals Munchlax

SPP continued to become a bigger and more professional site, dropping the Serebii's Pokémon Page name and going just with SPP & Serebii.net. Averaging at 15,000 Unique, we were slowly becoming one of the big boys

Emerald's Japanese Release appears making Serebii.net's hits rise to 40,000 and levelling up at 20,000 for the rest of the year. Emerald's release and our coverage

Serebii.net reveals Lucario
April 2005
Serebii.net is the first to reveal the next batch of Pokémon; Weavile, Mime Jr. & Bonsly. People come from everywhere

Sinko stopped paying for the server and the site started paying for itself
August 2005
Serebii.net covers the XD release solidifying it as the place to go. Serebii.net starts getting higher hits
June 2006
Our Pre-Release DP Coverage Starts and our hits go up to beyond the 50,000 Unique Mark. With many exclusive reveals, people flock to Serebii.net

Serebii.net Breaks the 100,000 Unique Mark and keeps it at a steady rate for many months
September 2006
Serebii.net covers its first generation of games without being a geocities site or killing a server. With its non-stop coverage that has continued for almost 4 weeks without a day's break thanks to myself, Coronis & PurpleKecleon, Serebii.net Broke the 200,000 Unique Hit Mark

Celebrating it's 7th Birthday, Serebii.net is still the top dog for Pokémon Information and will be here for much more time to come...
