For me, the hardest pokemon to train were Dratini to Dragonite and Horsea to Seadra.

For me it is all of them because once they got to a higher level it was hard for them to get to another level.

I have feelings, that I had really much difficulties and I hated training Rhyhorn to Rhydon about... 9 years ago? :3

Nowadays I go definitely with Dratini, it's such a nightmare. Too weak attacks and then kinda hard to level up.

dratini was hard to train as it took a while and because it was weak, howevr i beleive metapod was the hardest to train

Probably Rhyhorn for me. I never bothered with Dratini in RBY because I didn't like Dragonite.

Dratini. XP I was so mad from training it for days and the levels were still so low. I hate it, I never want to train another even if you paid me. Pure torture.

Dratini was a pain to level up. I can't even remember how long it took me. I believe I gave up. At that time, Gold/Silver was just around the corner and everyone already forgot about the first generation.

Dratini. I never even finished leveling it up into Dragonite. I liked it a Dragonair better. ;3

Dragonite. It took more times through the Elite 4 to get Dragonair to Lv. 55 than for Mewtwo and Mew put together to Lv. 100.

Dratini-Dragonite has gotta be the hardest. You have to evolve it to level 55 until it's fully evolved, that's quite hard to train.
