What happens when it's two AM in the morning, you're still up reading Naruto and you see a sketchpad and a pencil nearby?

THIS!!

Yeah, ignore the eraser smudges and body anatomy problems. ('Specially in the arms) I have no idea why she came out slanted... my arm does weird stuff. o_O

Not real good compared to the other artists here ('Specially sweethart_772002) but this was my first Sakura sketch and my first time using the "Naruto character eyes" and I'm kind of proud on how it came out. ^_^

I have a question for the artists out there. I have OpenCanvas and Paintshop Pro 8, how do I ink my picture and color them in? Also, which one is better?

I want to be able to color and ink it so that it comes out like somethin' like:

this. (Credit to sweethart_772002, she's such a wonderful artist!)

Nice drawing! It's very detailed, and it looks like you put a lot of effort into it! =D Although, the lines look very light and like you said, some of them are uneven/slanted. You should go back and try to draken them up. Sorry, all I have is Photoshop, so I don't know anything about OpenCanvas or Paintshop Pro 8. x.x I can't wit to see what it looks like once you color it! <3

o_O She did come out slanted. I like her eyes, yes that's good. I give you a chocolate bar for making her face good, except its a bit crooked. *better than me, anyways*

But what bothers me is the size of her body, and how her head to body becomes large to small.

Anyways, nice attempt in drawing her. I find her difficult to draw.

Nice sketch. o.o Better then anything I could do at least. xD;;

To answer your question, OpenCanvas is better then PaintShopPro in coloring IMO. You can try coloring the picture in by adding a new layer and then vector tracing it, then you can try the different assortment of paintbrushes to color in the spots and shade and etc. And what do you mean by 'link'?

Thank you for the comments! Over 100 views and only 4 responses... >_>

Umi Mizuno: Oh, thank you! ^_^ I'll be sure to try that. Um, I don't think I said anything about a link...?

How do you vector trace? >_> *ish new to this stuff*
