Harvest Moon GBA help needed... badly

alright, I'm in my third year in friends of mineral town and trying to get married *I know that's sad, so just sthu * and in order to marry, I need the third expansion of the house (the one with the extra bed for wife), but Gotz, the woodcutter, won't build me a house because he doesn't "feel the creative urge yet". I'm guessing there's supposed to be an event, but I don't know how to get to it, and I'm running out of time before my future wife decides to marry someone else. could anyone please help???

ps. I have the second expansion (kitchen) already. plus, I've played this game before and Gotz has never done this until now...

i've beaten the game[sorta i have everything] just ask him another time u have to wait awhile i have all harvest moon games

thanx, I guess. I've been giving him gifts for a while (even got him something on his birthday, by accident), but will I have to ask him until he decides, or will there be an event?

PS. I don't trust stickies for help. mine tend to get lost in the crowd and be ignored...

ok, sorry for the double post, but I still need help, and I'm not sure if the advice here is working. I've been giving Gotz a gold milk each day for over half a month now, and I'm getting worried. can someone PLEASE tell me a specific way to get him back to building stuff? with each passing day on the game, I lose time before my wife decides to marry someone else...

I'm pretty much guessing that's why it happenned in the first place, but why he wouldn't like me again after 2 months of gold milk (wich he loves, based on his reaction) is beyond me. I hate this little *******... (don't tell him though)
