Has Anyone Seen A Shiny Pokemon Where They Couldn't Catch It?

Has anyone ever seen a shiny pokemon where they couldn't catch it? such as The Battle Factory? The Battle Pyramid? The Battle Pike? The Pokemon That Was being Chased By Professor Birch? The Ralts Wally Caught? As for me, i rented a Shiny Sealeo in the Battle factory and My Friend saw a Shiny Milotic in the battle Pike. Has anyone have a story like this?

I saw a shiny Delibird during the Battle Dome tourney. Out of all the chances to see a shiny pokemon, it had to be during the Battle Frontier...sigh.

I've seen a shiny Meowth, Metagross, Espeon, and Dodrio in the Battle Frontier before, I was so angry that I couldn't catch them.

Then not too long ago, I found a shiny Smeargle on emerald, but I was out of ultra balls. >_>

not one that i coudltn catch but i do remember when i didnt know about shinys and only g/s/c was out i was playing crystal and probably training my typlosion when i saw a tangela (i was playing on a gameboy color so the color isnt too great) and i noticed it had a slight greenish touch to it and i was scared thinking the color on my gameboy was fading, well i never saw the stars when it appeared so i ran away only to see tangelas shiny form was green.....

seviper (forgot which facility)
chimecho - wild in battle pyramid
espeon - battle factory

I'm glad I never ran into a shiny in the Battle Frontier. If I did, I would be totally ******.

I found a shiny Pelipper once in the water. I had a lv 58 Sceptile and a bunch of lv 15 sucky pokemon...I had only 5 badges at that time.... Stupid Sceptile's Rock Tomb! I found a shiny oddish shortly after. But the game had a glitch and i couldn't save!!! NOOO! I captured it though....
