In ruby/sapphire/emerald, is that the boy character's hair or is it a hat? (i've had this question for a long time, with no official answer.)

I really thought it was his hair, because he has the headband. White hair is possible on young kids.

It is a hat. Hair? Thats downright crap! We have proof it aint real hair and i'll start off with saying that if you look at his ear, their is black hair.

I believe it is his hair. He may have dyed it white to look "cool", or whatever.

I suppose it's irrelavant at the time being.

A hat, obviously. As mentioned before, it has been shown in the Manga and in Emerald, the hat doesn't cover the back of his black/dark brown hair, making it very obvious.

You can see his actual hair. Also, this isn't for the games, but in the manga, Ruby (who is the Manga Brendan) took the hat off to reveal hair like Norman's.
