lol, your thread is going to get pwnt again.

Anyways, like 0mastar said before, Gengar has fun with this team.

How are you going to get Houndoom in on Gengar, especially if you're facing one that has Substitute? The Destiny Bond version can Destiny Bond you while you're bringing in Houndoom, so that you can't attack it without losing Houndoom.

Destiny Bond Gengar is cooler than Substitute Gengar (in my opinion) for these two reasons:

1. It can force alot of switches.

2.

Begin Turn #4
-_- Biazi -_- withdrew Rhydon!
-_- Biazi -_- sent out Tyranitar (Lv.100 Tyranitar)!
Tyranitar's Sand Stream whipped up a sandstorm!
---------------------------------
Sinister used Destiny Bond!
Sinister is trying to take its foe with it!
---------------------------------
The sandstorm rages.
Sinister is buffeted by the sandstorm!
Sinister's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
End of turn #4
-_- Biazi -_-'s Tyranitar: 100% HP
chaos952's Sinister: 19 HP

Begin Turn #5
Sinister is tightening its focus!
Tyranitar used Dragon Dance!
Tyranitar's Attack rose!
Tyranitar's Speed rose!
---------------------------------
Sinister used Focus Punch!
(100% damage)
A critical hit!
It's super effective!
Tyranitar fainted!

No, but considering Clops is an easy switch out...

I would agree with chaos, McIceGar hurts badly. But honestly, it can only take out a few things at a time. If it has Sub it has to have FP, and that means it can kill 2 Pokes so far on this team. If it doesn't have Ice Punch, Drag laughs at it. If it doesn't have Giga Drain, Swampert kills it. If it doesn't have Thunderbolt, Skarm owns its face. So... you get the idea.

And honestly, a non-powered up/non-super effective attack is never going to KO Clops. That much is certain.

thank you for stating the obvious

Ice Beam Bliss ftw>Clops

Ice Beam won't do crap to Dusclops, especially when it will outstall you with Pain Split and Pressure.

Besides the McIceGar weak, Blaziken can mess you up pretty bad with the right moves and prediction. Especially if it gets your swampert on the switch with something nasty.

what the fuick is chaos talking about

i replaced clops with blissey

replacing dusclops leaves you quite open to fighting Cbers for rape, and Snorlax can do the special walling job already

Pax Deorum

Tempus Vernum
Flamethrower is crap on Houndoom.
Go Overheat and I'm serious

IMO, no overheat on houndoom. Fire Blast > Overheat. Houndoom is a special attacker. Fire Blast is always better for special attacking.

Edit: Dusclops would be useful. You don't need Blissey.

What if it stays in more than you think? then you're screwed. It needs the special attack and already gets major STAB + Flash Fire. Fire Blast > Overheat.

Also, since you have HP Ice and may want to kill something, youll need the special attack power.

It will stay in if they have no choice but to stay in. Also, they would stay in if it has the chance to kill a few things.

btw, HP grass is an option for killing Swamperts, but HP Ice is better type coverage in some cases.

I'm pretty sure houndoom can take at least one hit. I like fireblast rather than overheat on houndoom because Houndoom needs spl attack (Not like balziken, camerupt, ect) That harsh SPL atk loss kills its STAB'd crunch (Which is an option over persuit) and HP ice. And Houndoom isnt Medicham, it can actually be hit by stuff and not be OHKO'd

I guess it works. It does have the defenses. I don't like the idea of using this though. I like using Focus Punch/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/HP Grass or Substitute/Focus Punch/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt since those sets have less resistances.

IMO, use Shadow Ball over Focus Punch. Ghost types own that set.

Fire Blast > Overheat. It's useful to have more special attack.

I guess you can use this. I usually use Forretress as my physical wall, though. Also, you can try Whirlwind and HP Flying over Drill Peck and Roar so that BP-Mime teams don't mess you up.

Pain Split/Will-O-Wisp/Snatch/Shadow Ball could work since you can grab recovery moves, heal yourself, deal a bit of damage, and spread the burn.
