Have you ever cheated w/some sort of cheating device. I admit-one time. to get more tms and berries. I did get celebi but I released it and vowed never to cheat again. Plus it was on fire red which I never played. That was my newbish times long time ago.

I cloned my mew back in the R/B/Y days with the old link cable trick, but I ve never cheated with an AR or something like that. I don´t see the point of it.

I did use Gameshark on my Gold and my Ruby. But then gave it up... it's better to get it through half-hard work, even though it's much more expensive. ;)

Lots of times.
First, it was for geting celebi in silver. Then, I got some TM, evolution stones and some minor items that I wouldn't care for without xploder.
Then in GBA, I used it to get TM, sun and moon stones, to create a female shiny ralts with very good IV (after geting a male shiny ralts and a female normal ralts with very good IV, I just copied them), to go to event islands, rarecandies to check IV well and one or two things more that I can't remember.

Missing No cheat and in my Visiual boy Sapphire I used gameshark for money, balls and celebi. But I neve actually use that game. On GBA I wont ever cheat and never done it. (cheaters day: Go to the game store and buy a game. Go home. Cheat the game over, and buy a new game. And the same thing happens to the very end...) If u cheat its not a game its just writing some codes.

Yes, I have~
But mostly, it was just for the purpose of messing around in boredom and having a joke with the people I usually battled. I remember 'sharking a shiny Caterpie, giving it moves like Megahorn and other such attacks~
And all the classic ones such as 'walk through the walls' on RS. You can discover some crazy crap whilst pissng about with those codes. Like, the 'sky' at the top of Sky Pillar. Its actually just puddle water, the same type found near Fortreee. Meaning you can walk around the sky, leaving little ripples of water behind you. Now THATS innovation in the field of laziness!

Oh, and of course, to obtain all the pokémon that can only be recieved via special events.
Or to get myself multiple TMs. I fail to see how doing stuff like that can be considered 'newbish'. I refuse to shell out for another GBA and another pokémon game, just so I can get the TMs I want. And I refuse to play through that damned Colloseum garbage again for them either.

OMG, I've used a Gameshark before! Guess that makes me evil, huh? =o
Really, I don't get why people are so uppity about this. Its not like people use codes to skip through the whole game or anything.

Only on my 'non main games' I never cheat on them unless they are teleporter codes

i cheated for some pokemon that were impossible to get like celebi, lugia, and ho-oh

when i didnt know about serebii i used rare candies to level up my pokemon to lv 100 then i found out that EV training makes taht pokemon so much more powerful.

i still have the cheated pokemon (they werent directly cheated into my game, cheated into friends then traded) but i dont use them

Nope. Total fairness. However, there was this one time in my Silver Version that I traded my Onix for the Steelix, and a glitch gave me both of them (Onix and Steelix) both holding Metal Coats!!

I never cheated, I find that cheating just to get pokemon/items/berries completely takes away the fun from the game, the fun usually comes from finding and catching pokemon, finding items/berries. The ultimate satisfaction comes from the hard work you had spent on trying to catch those pokemon, not just from the possession of the pokemon. You would adore the pokemon more if you spent a lot of hard work trying to catch it. For example, I really adore my ;245; as I spent a long time trying to find it.

The only time that I ever have cheated was to get the Mystic/Aurora tickets, and to catch Celebi, Mew, etc. I'm a perfectionist, so when there's a gap in my pokedex, I want to fill it.

I can't say I have ever cheated with the GBA games even though I may have taken advantage of certain glitches from time to time which is considerably acceptable.

I don't think Nintendo allows any AR adjusted games for any of their events so I just don't bother. Now that XD is out, I can get lugia that way, and won't mind if I still have to wait in order to get a mew, celebii, or a deoxys someday, but only the valid way.
