Like the title, have you ever made your own original sets for anything?
I'm making many for shuckle, currently 3:

3HKO/2HKOShuck
Shuckle@lefties/leichi berry
adamant nature
- rock slide
- toxic
- rest
- encore
^much, MUCH better than the standard. 3HKO'ed a lvl 37 Dodrio with 24 attack at lvl 30.

ExtremeAnnoyerShuck
Shuckle@lefties
impish nature
- protect
- double team <hax, ONLY for annoyance!
- dig
- safeguard

"Your friends are guaranteed to rip there hair out with frustration when you use this against them... or your money back!"

SkillageShuck
Shuckle@lefties
impish/bold/careful/adamant/brave nature
- protect
- rest
- sub/toxic
- rock slide/sludge bomb

Only the first one is tried and true, but the EAShuck is sure to work!
So, anyone make any unique sets for anything?
EDIT: I forgot to say that if you have, please post them.

I made an original Special Attacking Togetic once, since the only sets I could find were physical. It actually worked pretty well, for an NU Pokemon.

I sometimes make somewhat original sets, but, logically, all the really good and useful sets have already been thought of or are pretty much common knowledge, so most of the time completely original sets are useless. I could make a physical Alakazam set and call it original, but it would be worthless. =/

Yup. I like to collect shinies and I always make each of them the best they can be. As a result, I'm often forced to come up with movesets that economize less-than-ideal natures and the lack of Egg Move availibility. It's also just fun playing around with unusual movesets and strategies. Some of them work; others don't.

Yeah, yeah. I was a big fat n00b, and everybody knows it. :p lol

Auraninja

I withdraw reluctantly.
All the time; I hardly go to see the Netbattle sets.

And BTW, Shuckle has low attack, so I don't think Rock Slide is that great of a move, but I guess it's okay if it works for you.

Blastoise King

Legendary Pokémon Coordinator
i made cbtoise. it worked occasionly just in the fact that it shocked the **** out of people

lolforumz.
i give different moves to pkmn i use, to see how they play out, but i wouldn't really call thme move sets, just playing around with dif moves and such.

Likewise.

I like to call Airan-Jo my WTFEXDEE Sneasel, cause WTFEXDEE is generally the reaction to her moveset...

Airan-Jo/Sneasel @ White Herb
Impish Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Screech
- Quick Attack

xD

WTFXD indeed!

Erm, the only one I can remember that sort of worked was my all-out offensive Lugia when I was 11 in Stadium 2: Aeroblast, Psychic, Surf and Ancientpower. Hits a variety of types for high damage. Crap, but fun.

Given the time I'd probably make some sort of CBLedian or something... hmm, Focus Punch, Double Edge, Silver Wind, Aerial Ace (or a HP for either type). LOL! Would be funny if it worked though. :D

*expects flames and "lol CBLedian" to come his way - it was a joke and I'd never use it seriously*

I made 2 sets in Smogon. They're both Mew sets.

Lugia set which I made but someone else also had the same idea.
Lugia @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 96 Spd / 80 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Whirlwind
- Roar/Aeroblast(Use Careful, and maybe some Atk EVs)/Ice Beam.
Main purpose of this set is to abuse Spikes (Deoxys-L and Skarmory, anyone?). Lugia is very fast and can blow off the foe with a Sleep Talked Whirlwind. 280 Speed outruns max Speed Adamant Kyogre and Groudon, 400 SDef just because, max HP because it needs it.

I never tire of that reaction. xD

Does my all out attacking Misdreavus on Silver count?

Missy/Misdreavus @ Brightpowder
- Zap Cannon
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Return

It actually worked rather well for me in link battles. I loved Zap Cannon in the G/S/C days, despite low accuracy.

I remember an (GSC) Azumarill set too:

Surf
Protect
Whirlpool
Perish Song

You could do that for Dewgong too, maybe substituting Surf for Ice Beam. However I just made my Dewgong a Sleep Talker. And my current Crystal Umbreon moveset is this:

Faint Attack (to be deleted at some time when finished levelling)
Moonlight
Mean Look
Baton Pass

I'm thinking about Thief to nick items, but I'm not sure. Not great movesets, no, but fun anyway. Well, maybe not that original.

Groudon@Miracle Seed
??? Nature
-Fire Blast
-Solarbeam
-Eruption
-Thunder

Of course, original doesn't mean good...^_^'. I was such a n00b back then...X_X.

Juputoru

M-m-m-m-onobear?!
Do in-game sets count? :p *shot*

Whenever I do anything competitive, I use standard sets because I tend to fail at competitive MS-making. :<

Oops! Forgot my Smeargle on NetBattle! It relies on a few Speed Boosts to work though, but is only really countered by luck and p/hazing (which is actually quite rare on the Smogon server, it seems). It either works incredible well or gets owned the second it comes out.

Smeargle@Leftovers
??? Nature (I forgot)
Baton Pass
Belly Drum
Spore
Tail Glow

Guess how it works :D. I mainly use it for Belly Drum, Tail Glow's there just in case.

Shuckle is fine in-game.
Groudon
- solarbeam
- fire blast
- eruption
- earthquake

Can't remember the nature, but it has 409 Attack.
took me through the E4 over 70 times single-handedly without being damaged most of the time.

I guess you could call my Snorlax and Zapdos somewhat original.

Snorlax@Leftovers
252 HP/120 SpDef/80 Def/58 Atk
Careful
Thick Fat
Body Slam
Earthquake
Curse
Rest

Meh, EQ is more useful than SB IMO. Don't see many Gengars ingame anyway. Return is actually standard but I like Body Slam because it allows me to trade between games and parahax is fun. 8)

Zapdos@Leftovers
200 Spd/200 SpAtk/52 HP/52 Def/6 SpDef
Timid
Pressure
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Substitute
Light Screen

Actually, the only reason this exists is because my Timid Zapdos has a weak Hidden Power Dragon. Nonetheless, LS + Sub a good sponge makes.

Yeah. The best "original" sets are really only substandard. =/

I'm not sure I really make movesets. I just let Pokemon learn moves or not learn moves based on the need. And I don't do NetBattle, but sometimes I try out one of their movesets In-Game, and it NEVER works. Especially the stupid Skarmory set. Strangely enough, it does work in link battles. The Smogon sets are made for use against intelligent opponents, not the computer. So, in conclusion, I don't really make movesets, I make stuff up as I play the games.
