I don't get what you're talking about. Do you mean the booklet that comes with the game? All mine has on the cover is the title and a brown background.

I have that book in front of me now. Those are Paras and Parasect. They were drawn that way for the same reason Action Replay had to draw different versions of Groudon and Kyogre, to avoid lawsuits.
