Heart of Chaos (actually begins)

(Argent: Wow. that's pretty darn naive. XD.)

Tom lowered the shotgun in a 'defensive-but-ready' sort of position. The barrel now pointed to the ground. He was listening to the girl, but he didn't exactly trust her either. He was unsure.

A massive amount of the little heartless began to crawl towards them - they were that numerous it seemed like a carpet of black consumed the area around them. Tom didn't really have much of a chance if he was on his own, so he had to team up with the girl, however reluctant he was.

"Right" He said. "I can take a decent amount of the little things out. And I'm sure you can too." He turned, just about to shoot at the bug-like heartless, then turned back to her. "By the way, you'll want to watch out for my good friend, Mr. psycopath...actually, I don't know him, but judging by the looks of him, he's a bit...err...odd?" He pointed his finger over her shoulder at the guy with the heart symbol on his jacket, who was charging into the battle.

Litera kept trying to fight down the boss-creature, but it didn't seem to be nearly affected. It looked like it could stand several more blows from the group that had begun to fight it. Shockingly, this was a rather large group.

The lioness-girl couldn't get back up the giant Heartless for some reason. It was bashing her down, keeping her away. Maybe it was more intelligent than the normal, mindless little beasts... Litera realized that even if she couldn't do damage to the boss directly, she most likely could help out the group by getting rid of a few small-fry.

With that she started to use her whip to slice the small Heartless to pieces. They were easy, but with so many they were a rather large threat. She kept on fighting, though...

She leapt back to avoid several of the things slashing her at once. When Litera landed, she saw a couple of humans next to her, one who didn't look very confused about her. The lion-girl knocked a few more small-fry back to help them out, not saying anything.

She was not afraid of the darkness. She would not fall to it now, not ever again. The light was protecting her for now... Litera knew it in her heart, even if it was a half of one.

I apologise, but I cannot upkeep this and other RPs. I am afraid that I must drop out of this one due to inactiveness. I wasn't that active in here, anyway, and it shouldn't cause any major upsets. I apologise greatly for the inconvenience.

Josh stood up, blood dribbling from his forehead, and drying there quickly from the heat of the two nearby fires. He looked around, noticing that everyone seemed so intent on one of the two monsters, the other was slowly getting bigger and stronger. He quickly caculatd the number of people there, five, six including himself. He also noticed that the shadows just kept coming and coming.

Well, maybe we need to split up, three on that guy, three on that guy, thenwe should be safe. He thought to himself. His black batwings wings started to flap as he rose into the air, and he looked around. Still, no one seemed to notice his wings, which someone should have said something about by now. He hovered there, deciding what to say to get these people to split, when it finally hit him.

"Alright, those of you with weapons, listen up. We need to split into two gropus, one group attacks that creature, and one group attacks this one." He said, he pointed to the creatures respectivly. "We need to live through this, so lets get moving!"

Leif tightened the grip on his sword, and shook his at them with his free hand. "I can make a plan too! You think your so great, with your whole bodies, and your sanity!" He started to grind his teeth."

With a single movement, Leif unsheathed his second sword, and aligned them for a second spell. "Control!" The shadowy beam shot from the swords, and landed around the first controlled Shadow, Roger. Two more along with him, were caught in the beam. "You're Phillip," as he pointed to one," and you're Rodriguez." Both nodded as they bunched up with Roger. "Alright, let's go chew their faces off!"

"C-chew their faces off? I might throw up." Leif sounded queasy.

"Hey don't you make a mess in there? I'll go in there, and beat you senseless if you do!" He started to knock on his head witht the handle of his sword.

"That means you'll beat yourself, stupid." He chuckled.

"Fine I won't, but we have a battle to fight! Charge!" Leif aggressively swung his sword forward, and pointed it at the group of people. All the Shadows ignored his command, and continued to crawl towards the mob.

Leif stared blankly at them, then a sudden burst of rage blasted out of him. "Fine! Be that way. Leif Squadron will do it!" With a giant grin, he charged at them, with Roger, Phillip, and Rodriguez trailing behind him.

The ninja demon turned and saw the "psycho" as the man put it argue with himself. Surely, there is something wrong with him? she briefly thought, twirling her kama into the dissiptating body of a shadow. Quickly she snapped out of it. Now is NOT the time to worry about the curiosities of the people I'm fighting with. This is bad, really bad. No coordination. We're all going around fighting whatever we want to fight. The little ones keep coming back faster then we can kill them. If we don't fight smart, we'll fight dead. But what to fight? What to fight...

"Boy," she turned to the cloaked man that they made the temporary alliance with, "I'm going to go after the big one, I want you to cover me!" Then, without waiting to hear his response, she leaned down low and zipped across the glowing stone road, whirling her kama into whatever came before her. But... I must... get them to fight with me... Quickly she flew past the one leader of a small batallion of Shadows? Maybe I shouldn't trust him...

She shook off this uncertainty, "I'm attacking the big one, help me out!" she shoutted and moved her way to the neko-matta, telling her the same thing. Finally, he came across the one who suggested splitting up, "I'm going for the big one, I think this whole mess will be over when its dead."

Hope this works...

Litera pricked her ears when she heard the girl talking to her. Attacking the big one wasn't easy, but even the half-heart knew that it would be easier with some help... and that girl appeared to be getting a good bit of it.

With a small nod to the girl... wait, was she human? Something about her didn't seem that way... but Litera couldn't see any big differences between her and a human. Well, her ears were pointy. What was she then? Litera didn't really have time to think about it, so she just went straight to help the pseudo-human take down the large creature.

She ran forth, trying to avoid getting hit by too many shadow Heartless. Holding her whip in coils in her clawed left hand, Litera ran up right next to the girl who she was going to help out now.

"Will do..." She said with a rough tone, telling the other that she was there to help. "This thing is hard to fight... it will take us both." The lioness commented, knowing it was true from recent experience.

But she wouldn't give up just because of that. Litera had every reason to keep fighting... to get the darkness to stop messing with her head. Every time she destroyed a shadow, she had noticed, she felt its grip lessen...

We will take this thing down.

BANG!

Tom shot one of the small heartless with the shotgun. The creature dissapated, like usual. Then he cocked it again. Unfourtunatley, it had to be done after every shot with this particular type of gun. He ran over to the ninja, who was with the cat lady.

"These things don't know when to give up, do they?" He said in an agitated tone. It seemed like there was a million of them - after one was dealt with, two more would pop up. Suddenly, A small group of the heartless came charging at the trio. Tom shot one, but the other few seemed oblivious to the fact, as they kept on charging.

It was beginning to get tougher now.

Josh hovered there, his wings beatting the air. Blood still dirblled down his forehead, getting in his eyes. He flew forward, getting closer to the ground, killing a bunch of Shadows as his keyblades sliced through them. He flew up to the smaller of the two giant heartless and attacked it in the face. He dodged a couple of swings and landed on its head. He looked over at the bigger one to see three people were attacking it.

Well, atleast they arre attacking it. That makes this easier. I shouuld help them after I kill this hearltess. He thought to himself. He quickly devised a plan.

"THUNDER!" He yelled, aiming it at the heartless surronding the Cat person, the Ninja, and the guy with the gun. He then took his two keyblades and did a downward thrust into the creatures head. He held onto the keyblades as he jumped behind it, and his weapons tore through it's body. when he hit the ground, the creature split into three peices.

"Well, I think that one is dead." He said. It formed back togther, only with scars to show where Josh jad just attacked it. :I guess I spoke too soon." He siad. He looked and saw some maniac directing three shadows. What he didn't konw is that a gruop of silder heartless were right behind him.

"Hey, buddy, watch your back!" He yelled.

Leif stopped in his tracks bewildered at the guy who tried to warn him. Hadn't he noticed that he was charging him, and his allies? He then turned and saw a squad of Soldiers, marching semetrically toward the battle. Not caring about Leif, and his shadowy comrads, the trampled them. After dusting himslef off, Leif shoved the final Soldier

"Hey watch where you're going!" Leif narrowed his eyes. The Heartless gittered about, almost like he was arguing with our favorite psycho. "I don't care if you're a Soldier,at least I'm not a generic litte pansy!" Leif then bashed his helmet over his eyes. Drastically trying to straighten his helmet, and catch his buddies, he ran into a neighboring building.

Phillip tugged Leif's pants. "Oh yeah, the battle." He scanned the warzone, now filled with some Soldiers." Ah yes, Wingboy!" He directed his attention to the one who warned him. "Let's go thank him!" Roger nodded, and followed Leif into battle

"Come on, don't! He tried to help you." His other self didn't want the winged warrior to fight Leif.

"Cram it! I'm helping him too! At least he ain't fighting the big guy!"

"Do you hate everything?"

"I don't hate me!"

"Why do you try to kill things first, and then don't ask questions?" He was getting fed up with his alter ego.

"It's fun, that why!"

With a mighty leap, Leif flew above his adversary, and placed his sword above his head. On the ground, he noticed his Shadow buddies scampering below for a sneak attack. Leif then began to plummet, and swung his sword at him. "Surprise!"
