Heart Scale trouble

Heart scale if you want him to teach you moves in R/S/E. Where do yu find this so called Heart Scale thing? I have played Ruby and Saphire, like ten times, nad can never find this dang Heart Scale. Someone please tell me where it is..;488;

Well...When you go underwater there is some little spots that are alittle darker then the normal underwater floor.

Its called a super rod! with lots of time and a pokemon that knows thief, covet, or trick. luvdisc carry them a decent bit of the time and corrasala have red shards. Happy hunting!

Oh, man, you're going to need a lot more than just 6. Statistically, only half of the Luvdisc you encounter will have a Heart Scale. Also, if you're using just plain Pokéballs, you won't have much luck, as they can't catch much else but really low level Pokémon. Try for at least a Great ball, but a Net Ball will give you the best chances if you're going after Luvdisc.

Get apokemon with Knock off.{Hariyama} Go to Ever grade a the first part with the waterfall.Fish there get a luvdisc and use knock off if an item falls off catch it.Therfore you will get a Heart scale.

jsut look for a luvdisk and when you find it either
1. catch it and hope it has a heart scale
2. use theif or something
3. pick-up maybe?

1- Pick up won´t take Heart Scale

2- Knock off won´t work

3- Covet, Trick, Thief will work, Covet is reccomended since it has 40 PP. You Don´t need to catch a lot of Luvdiscs using this method. Remember that you need to take the item in order to steal another Heart Scale (Once I used 30 Covet in 30 diferent Corsolas/Luvdiscs, and Linoone had already stole one Heart scale xD). An important thing, even if Covet KOs Luvdisc, you´ll be able to steal the item., don´t wory ;D

4- Compoundeyes ability leading your team will increase the chances to see a Pokémon holding an item. Remember this only works in Emerald.

agreeing with volteon, yah compound eyes with a taker move works. just clone theif and use one on a butterfree. for in-game they are moderately fast, and taking heart scales is their specialty.

also, on the lilycove beach, go crazy with the itemfinder. trust me. thy shall beith pleased. or anywhere you can make sand foot-prints the itemfinder works well

you can also find them at the beaches or places with alot af sand. use itemfinder. they are sometimes hidden in rocks.

Just find one and clone it several times. You do have Emerald version, don't you?

Just in case you want one right away to clone there is one in the rocks at lilycove or if you dont clone get a pokemon with thief/covet not knock off or pickup and use a super rod in the water at the top of the waterfall at evergrande city. The luvdisc have a 50% chance of holding it.

also if your playing emerald have a compound eyes pokemon first in the party and if a luvdisc appears swith to your theifer/coveter.

I think that would make the % to 75% but im not sure ;123;
