• Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure.

After reading through many of the interesting and informative discussions you have, I have decided to join as I found myself wanting to add my own input on so many occasions. I only recently got properly back into pokemon, after hiding it away from other people for the years while it was very unpopular. However, I have been encouraged to play as I used to again, after making some new friends who also liked pokemon (which was a nice surprise).

I also just wanted to check what the rules are about shared accounts on this forum. I used the Search tool but I couldn't find anything against them. If they are generally frowned upon, could you let me know as this account was intended to be shared with my friend. Thank you.

I'm looking forward to taking part in the discussions here. :)

Thanks for the nice introduction :)

The staff isn't really happy about account sharing, your friend should create a seperate account.
Having 2 people share an account can be confusing for the other members.
You can't control everything your friend does with this account either, so please let him create a new one :)

I realise now it probably will work better if we have separate accounts; it does look confusing to see a user posting twice in a row but with different comments.
Thanks for clearing that up for us. I will continue with this account while my friend will make a new one.

Welcome to SPPf. Please enjoy your stay and be sure to do the following:
-Read the rules.
-Read all stickies on the forum. These are found at the top of each respective forum that you enter.
-Get your signature checked everytime you change it.
-Try to join a club. By doing so, you will most likely make friends of the same interest as you. Moreover, it will make you feel welcomed to the forums and less of a stranger.
-Have fun.
