I got this item a few years ago at a local convention, and it was the only Pokemon gashapon among other unrelated ones. I did some research into it, but couldn't find any info on it. The only bit I managed to find is that it might be produced before the year 2000, as that is when Tomy changed their logo from red to blue. The can like thing doesn't have a title; it simply reads "Pocket Monsters"

Does anyone know what exactly this is? I don't have much knowledge about old Pokemon merchandise but I'm curious as what it might be and how it made its away here.
