Help me get a team together!

[King Latios]

Help me get a team. So far in the game, i have beaten the elite 4, can go to all 7 islands and trade from ruby, shappire and emerald.

I dont have a 6th Pokemon yet.
Please Help me get a Powerful Team!!!

Well, for one thing, HM moves aren't the best for battle EXCEPT Surf. Surf is the best HM for battle.

And another thing, moves like Blast Burn SUCK. You waste a turn recharging, and can't switch out. Your Charizard already has Flamethrower anyways, and Flamethrower does more in 2 turns than Blast Burn does. (BB does 150 in 2 turns, Flamethrower does 190 approx.)

Charizard:
-Aerial Ace/Wing Attack (WA if you can't get AA)
-Flamethrower
-Rock Slide/EQ
-Swords Dance

A set that doesn't require re-breeding. I dunno if you're willing to rebreed some of your Pokemon for better natures...

Venusaur:
-Razor Leaf
-Sludge Bomb
-Sleep Powder
-Leech Seed

Synthesis could take Razor Leaf or Sludge Bomb's place. Since your Venusaur has a Brave Nature, you could remove Razor Leaf. Leech Seed + Sleep Powder is a good combo.

Blastoise:
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Rest
-Seismic Toss/Counter

Another set that doesn't require breeding. Strength is a filler move here, and Rock Smash is incredibly weak.

Don’t give a Pokémon two attacking moves of the same type.

Return and Quick Attack on the same is an exception. See, Return is your main attack while Quick Attack is only used for finishing of weakened opponents.

I would recomend a Ground Pokemon such as a Dugtrio, Marowak, or a Golem. See one thing for a good pokemon team whenever your not trying to have one type of pokemon is that they can all beat each other up. On your pokemon team you have Pidgeot, Raichu, Blastoise, Venasaur, and a Charizard, right? Well you Raichu can defeat Pidgeot, Blastoise, and Charizard. Your Pidgeot can defeat Venasaur. Blastoise can beat Charizard. Charizard can beat Venasaur and Venasaur can beat Blastoise. But who beats electric! So I recommend a strong Ground pokemon.

Having a Ground type would only increase his weakness to BoltBeam. Snorlax resists that and can easily beat Electrics with his high special Defense.
