Help Me Hatch Some Eggs?

I searched for this but couldnt find it. What are all the things that can help you speed up hatching time? Like carrying a certain pokemon, or breeding with ditto or something. I cant remember what makes it quicker. I am trying to get a Bagon with an Adament nature, and I used 2 Bagon to breed. Will this slow down or speed up the hatch time?

You can't speed up hatching time in Fr/Lg.
Pokemon with the Magma Armor/Flame body can only work in Emerald.

Nope, there is a specific number of steps that must be taken for each egg to hatch. It is in the Serebii FR/LG/R/S/E Pokedex on the main site. Just use a bike or trade over to R/S/E and use the Mach Bike for even faster speeds.

BTW, what's with the Flame Body Magma Armor thing?

in emerald having a pokemon with that ability halves the time needed to hatch. in LG i just keep on riding down the cycling road over and over to hatch the eggs.

It works only in Emerald. If you have an Egg in your party and a Pokemon with Magma Armor or Flame Body, the time for a Pokemon to hatch is halved. Not sure.

In emerald, if you have a pokemon with Flame Body/ Magma armor it will hatch faster. But in LG/FR it doesn't works.

In fire red/leaf green hatch time will not speed up... but breeding time can be sped up.
The quickest way to get an egg from the daycars is to have the same species of pokemon with 2 different trainer ids... that means that 1 should be traded from a different game and one from your other game. That's the quickest way

I am breeding on Emerald. I thought that if you bred 2 of the same pokemon aka Bagon, that it would decrease hatching time.

If you breed two of the same Pokémon, each with different ID numbers, you simply get eggs faster, it does not reduce hatching time.

Slugma, Magcargo, thats all I can think of at the moment.

Numel, Camerupt, Magmar, Magby, Slugma, Magcargo are all ones that can have Flame Body/Magma Armor.

No. It still halves, even if you have 5 Pokemon with Magma Body.

You could just bike around Kanto. Not really recommened, though. Just trade to R/S and use the mudslide trick or ocean current glitch. Either that or do what everyone else said.

This should be in the RSE discussion if you're in emerald shouldn't it?
Anyway, it does work. I have (well, used to have) slugma in my "Utility" box in emerald so I could withdraw it whenever I had to hatch stuff.

The only abilitys that increase egg hatching time is in emerald, you will just have to walk around to hatch eggs.
