ermm... I'm not so good with the atk, and other stats like that, but i can say that that move set is one that i would use, and i normally only go with very offensive. I don't think it's bad at all.

Hm...Chansey's SpAtk is not very good, so Dream Eater is not too good for it..and also sing's accuraccy is bad..I suggest Seismic Toss if you want to use it as offenser.
Did you EV trained it, anyways?

If you decide to keep Counter, then you'd want to keep it's Def stat kinda low, seeing as Chansey's usually have very high HP. There's also the Mirror Coat/low SpDef option as well, but seeing as it has high SpDef, I'd stick with the low Def. Having a recovery move such as Softboiled, or Recover would also prove to be very useful, as well as having an incapcitating move such as Sing, or Thunderwave. If you use Sing, then you may want to use Dreameater also, which would prove useful in keeping it's HP high enough to survive the heavy hitters of the poke'mon world. If you stick with Thunderwave, a good fourth move would be a high powered SpAtk that has decent accuracy. To frustrate your oppents even more, a good hold item would be leftovers.

I have a Blissey so try using EXP.SHARE. I think Dream Eater is bad. Look at it's SpA!

wait, it's special attack might not be good, but i thought the special attack only helped out/messed up moves of that pokemons own type (ie. charizard using a Flying type move would work better then a normal type move) corrrect if I'm wrong.

Like i said, i had maxed out its hp and sp.attk by ev training earlier on and at first was not effective. But now it is unstoppable and can kill a lvl 80 in one dreameater attack.

It is now a 45 Blissey With a Bold Nature
Moves are:Counter Softboiled Sing Dreameater
Stats:
Attk:17
Def:19
Sp.Atk:116
SpDef:126
Speed:71
HP:386

I don't get the thing about Chansey. other than there high hp there stats are terrible. yet everyone wants one and there so rare.
1) It's got a high Special Defense
2) It can hold the Lucky Egg which increases experience gained by any Pokemon holding it
3) It's one of the few Pokemon that learn Heal Bell
4) It evolves into Blissey, which is one of the most commonly used Pokemon in the competitive battling circuit

That's four reasons I can think of. Or, some people may catch them for Pokedex only, I dunno.
