Go with Nine Thou.
Except over Substitute on Venasaur, you could have Swords Dance.
Also on Arcanine (If you want it for its surprisingly good special attack) you could go for a Naughty nature

Naughty might actually be better there since that Arcanine is more SAtk based, it seems.

Thats what I thought. And when you want more attack, use Howl.

Ampharos might also like Fire Punch if you don't want to SubPunch. In that case, take Modest (+SAtk, -Atk). I don't really like Fire Punch on Ampharos though since most Ground-types are also Rock-types and therefore carry a resistance to Fire-type attacks, hence Subpunch being there.
