i have got to the elite four on fire red and ready to battle them to but
i have a problem

theres this girl in the way of the door!!!

she says: I am sorry, but you've wasted your time coming here.
LORELEI of the ELITE FOUR is absent, you see.
as a result, the POKEMON LEAGUE is closed for the time being.


wot the hell do i do now HELP!!!!

go to four island and go to the left hand side , surf over to icefall cave, use waterfall, and find your way to the door on the left hamd side of the room, (this involves falling through the ice and ladders) then you should find lorelli confronting some rockets, help her fend them off, and then she will return to the e4

oh is this the first time your facing them? or he second time? if its the first i dunno, if itsthe second go to one island talk to celio, he'll ask you to get the ruby, once you have it he'll ask for the sapphire, to get the sapphire he'll give you the rainbow pass which lets you go to island 4-7

You need the National Pokedex to get there.

Do you have more than 60 pokemon? If yes, go talk to Professor Oak.

If this is your first time beating the E4, then you cheated to get the National Dex earlier in the game.

This is a common problem of cheating, as the game thinks you're farther along than you are--since you have the National Dex, the game assumes you've beaten the E4 for the first time already, and Lorelei goes away.

I had the national dex before I beat the elite 4,infact I had 100 pokemon atleast before I beat them.
I think he's lying for some reason?!?!

You can't have the National Dex before you beat the E4 no matter how many Pokemon you have. Oak doesn't give it to you until after.

Like I said, this ALWAYS happens when you cheat for the 'Dex. Someone comes here to complain about this every once in a while.

But can't you get the National Dex by trading a Johto/Hoenn pokemon over from another FR/LG? Or am i just imagining things?

That's in RS. In FrLgE, you need to finish the quest. If you didn't cheat to get the National Dex, your game is seriously messed up, but by the looks of it, you did.

How can you cheat to get the National Dex BEFORE beating the E4? I didn'yt think it was possible! (I don't need to do this. I have to Nat. Dex! I just want to know how)
