Help my Scar.

Scar, my Latios needs your help.I managed to catch it yesterday.Well, luckily, i got the nature i wanted(Naughty).Scar currently has these stats:

Scar (Latios)
-Hold item:None (Suggestions?? Well, apart from Soul dew)
-Lv:42
-Nature:Naughty

-Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Luster Purge
-Psychic

Stats:

-Hp 129/129 | Sp.Atk 117
-Attack 94 | Sp.Def 94
-Defence 82 |Speed 101

Exp.points 94535
Next.lv 4848

My main potential for him is to get him to lv:60 and make him join my battle frontier team.Should i rather make him a Phsycal sweeper with:

Scar (Latios)
-Hold item:Focus band (or you decide another item)
-Lv:60
-Nature:Naughty

-Dragon claw
-Earthquake
-Fly
-Body Slam

or a Special sweeper with:

Scar (Latios)
-Hold item:King's rock(or you decide another item)
-Lv:60
-Nature:Naughty

-Dragon Claw
-Ice beam
-Thunderbolt
-Calm mind

PS:I can't change the nature becuz i can't trade another Latios since none if my friends have one ;_;

-Hold item: Leftovers, Shell Bell both are good, especially without Recover
-Lv:60
-Nature:Naughty

-Dragon Claw
-Ice beam
-Thunderbolt
-Calm mind

I like the set; BoltBeam and Dragon Claw seem to hit most everything (Magneton comes to mind as the only problem). I'd consider replacing Ice Beam with Recover or Psychic, depending on the rest of your team, though. Special Latios is better than Physical because of the higher base special attack stat. Obviously there are those here better than me who can give a second opinion, but this is what I think.

Some people use Dragon Dance, Earthquake etc. for the 'cool factor', but it's not really as good. It would need some serious Attack EVs to pull that off. If you don't EV train, then it's not really an option, stick with the special one.

I'd imagine it's more there for the surprise factor, and you can't surprise a computer. Not that it couldn't work in the Frontier, but it's not the best set.
