help on beating eldes.

i can't beat eldes he is too hard i've tried ten times and i always lose.my highest level of my pokemon is 48 and it's a walrein.my espeon is at 44.houndoom is at 43. electabuzz is at 43.snorlax is at 43.starmie is at 43.he is unbeatable.

No he's not. I beat him on my first try. Just raise your pokemon's levels some more if you can't do it. Or try some different shadow pokemon.

Are you trying to capture his shadows are just make the faint? I caught them all, and it was pretty easy. You might want to try the opposite of what you've been doing though.

And if worse comes to worse, you could always look at a walkthrough on gamefaqs or something and follow their strategy.

Focus on Manetric and Marowak, since they have Shadow End. They're the biggest threat to you, if they get one End in, then your Pokemon will be KO'd. Salamance isn't that harmful because it only has Shadow Rush, but it'll use Shadow Hold on it's first turn. Lapras isn't hard at all, just get it into yellow HP and use a Net Ball. Keep in mind that Salamance's Hold is in effect for the entire battle, so if you want to switch, you'll have to let your Pokemon faint so you can bring the others out.

He's very easy if you have a Pokemon with a sleep move. Many learn Sing, but I prefer to use Sleep Powder Butterfree, since it's more reliable. Put one regular Pokemon to sleep and don't attack it, and put the shadow asleep and slowly whittle down its HP. Even if your Pokemon are seriously underleveled, if you have Shadows, they can be great defenders against other Shadows.

Just get a high level Breloom with False Swipe and maybe Stun Spore if you dont have a sleeper/paralyser.
Bring it out w/electabuzz and Shadow Half+False Swipe + Heal to victory.

I beat him on first try. I catch his Marowak-thick club, Salamence-high level,Lapras-don't have LG/FR, and kill Manectric. I think he has a ninjask and other one. He is too easy to destroy. My team on him is I think-Jolteon lv53 and Ursaring-lv54. Ursaring's return really helps me

If u r unable 2 beat him snag some pokemon but if all your pokemon are almost ko'd, make the remaining shadows faint and snag 'em later from Miror B.

If you do not plan to snag Lugia for some reason, use the Master Ball on Salamence. And if it looks like you'll lose, reset the game. It isn't worth losing the items you used and not getting anything to show for it.

If you want to defeat him without snagging any of his shadows, though, use Ice attacks. Marowak, Flygon, Ninjask AND Salamence are all weak to them.

My Flareon and Gardevoir made mincemeat of Eldes. Put the Pokemon to sleep, whittle down the health, snag the shadows. Got all four and caned his butt on the first try. ;/

It also helped that I trained my Pokemon to level 50 before attempting Citadark Isle. Made it a complete breeze.

I beat Eldes on my First try as well no need to worry about Manectric and Marowak just quickly catch them ASAP cause they will deal major if they get one hit in of Shadow End fortuneatly their Hp goes down by Half making them easier to catch so try as hard as you can i only a little trouble

ewww why would you waste a master ball on a salamence? its not even worth it. Its not even worth using a master ball in XD at all, unless you don't have a GBA game to play on.

I beat Eldes on my first try he was SOOO EASY. The guy with the blue hair that looks like him was much harder I thought.

All this stuff in XD makes me wish they would have gone back to automatically sending a snagged Shadow Pokemon to the PC storage system like they did in Colosseum.

Am I the only one who went through Citadark Isle with Pokemon in the low 40's?

At one point at Eldes, I had weakened Marowak, and he had out Salamence at Full Health. I meant to throw an Ultra Ball at Marowak, but accidentally did it to full health Salamence.

Caught it first try XD

I'd save the Master Ball for the GBA games, personally. Or, Lugia, worst case scenario. I caught it in Timer Ball though (Favourite Pokeball >>)

Focus on putting the shadow pokemont to sleeping to aviod annoyances. Then get rid of his non shadow pokemon... But bring alot of items just incase for Eldes that blue robed jerk nearly defeated me...
