hey guys. i'm back. i need some serious help with the sky tower. i can't get past the 25 floors. the last time i tried, i couldn't get past floor 5 cause the music suddenly changed and about 10 pokemon came attacking me. a forretress killed me (and itself) after its second explosion. my game's restarted, by the way. i have this team set for the sky tower:
cubone - lv.30 (me)
bonerang
dig (too powerful to replace)
toxic (suggestions?)
rage (for your average move pumper)

mudkip - lv.32 (partner starter)
water gun
mud slap
tackle
mud sport

absol - lv.26 (after articuno)
bite
scratch
quick attack
swords dance

suggestions would really help :p i'm currenly in frosty forest/mt. freeze looking for ice beam for mudkip (or me or absol)

I don't have much advice. Your levels are ok. Toxic is not so useful in this game. Replace with another damaging move such Cubone's headbutt.

When the song changes and thare are lots of Pokémons charging at you is called a "Monster House". As for Ice Beam, try this mission, it has Ice Beam as a reward:
1?K? 6?Y? 4N?6
X(m)?? F476 PS??
