I was wondering...if you use an image from Serebii in your signature, and don't say it's from Serebii, is that art theft? If so, do you have to say you got it from the site?
Sorry if there's already a question like this answered, but I didn't see one and I didn't find it in the FAQ. All I found about it was a thread in the Art Requests saying about trainer cards.

If you are talking about fanart, YES you always need to give credit to the artist and you'd better ask them for permission to use it.

I meant a sprite from the main site, because I wanted to put a list of the shinies I have in my sig.

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think you'd have to give credit, because they're just ripped from the game and you can find them almost anywhere.

As long as you use them only in this site, you don't have to give credit, but if you use them outside the site, then it is stealing, yes.
