Hi, ChakiChu here. Gearing up for yet another Pokemon event 
But the problem is, I'm having trouble creating a team. I mean, I can make one easy sweat but its hard to tell if the team will work well in the actual tournament. Here's what I have so far: (please forgive me, I haven't had time to calculate what EVs I want where)
Metagross (Clear Body)
Nature: Adamant
Moves:
*Meteor Mash
*Return
*Agility
*Pursuit
Houndoom (Flash Fire)
Nature: Modest
Moves:
*Sunny Day
*Flamethrower
*Will-o-Wisp
*Bite
Exeggutor (Chlorophill)
Nature: Modest
Moves:
*Solarbeam
*Leech Seed
*Light Screen
*Giga Drain
Scizor (Swarm)
Nature: Adamant
Moves:
*Fury Cutter
*Swords Dance
*Metal Claw

Lanturn (Volt Asorb)

*Confuse Ray

Yea...funny story. You see I was going to use an Articuno, but then I read the whole thing about how one hit KO isn't allowed on the forums...and I've been stuck ever since
Strategy: Well, I was hoping to start things off with Metagross and Houndoom. I would have Houndoom use Sunny Day so, when Exeggutor comes out it will have double speed and be able to use Solar Beam in one turn. After that it'd just be a spur of the moment type thing.
Thanks for any help on this. I'm not that experenced as a competive battler (last time I won once...but if the kid didn't mess up the cable and we didn't have to start over I would have lost...), so I really can't thank you people enough for helping me on this
