Help with emerald

Umm I know we cant talk about gameshark but can I ask a simple yes or no question

I have a bad egg in my game i dunno how but when I put my treeko in the box and chek its summery it turns black and goes upside down. the name reads bad egg and freezes. this happens without any codes,and its already saved. can i just start a new game and this will be gone?

If you start a new game everything should be fine, yes.

A lot of crash bugs like this will still be in effect after you start a new file. If you're going to restart your game anyway, you should do a factory reset to make sure that the game is clean (Up + Select + B on the Start Screen). This clears all modifications from the game's memory and puts it in the same state it was in when it shipped from the factory.

Hmm...maybe you've traded to a game which use cheating device or else then. The bugs will remain, just do the game reset as above said. Be careful when trading and never use any gamesharks or cheating device
