help with EV's sorry im a n00b

Hey everyone.

I heard about serebii from Krymzen adn it is a really wicked site.

I have alot of the pokemon handheld games and am looking very foward to
the 4th generation.

But back to the question, I was wondering what base stats were and how they work and whats up with the IV calculaor i dont really get ehat it does.

Base stats are, what you see in the Serebii Pokedex at the bottom of the page. They show you how strong a Pokemon is.
Here's a sticky that's about Ev's, Iv's and stuff like that. It's pretty helpful, you should read it.
