I like the idea of HP grass maybe I'll try that.

HP Grass/Ice are nice if you can get them, but they're really hard to get. HP Ice is an option because of Grass- and Dragon-types that Thunderbolts or repeated HP Grasses won't really do much to, if I remember correctly.

yep HP grass or ice. Even water could do.It will protect u from ground types. Never have a physical move on jolteon...never

HP Water is basically the same as HP Grass. Only difference is that HP Water isn't as great against Water-types, but remind yourself there of Jolteon's primary attack, Thunderbolt.

I prefer water over grass..cause then itt can also own fire types. ^^

STAB Thunderbolt still does more than maw power HP Water against most Fire-types. Besides, more powerful Water-type attacks and Pokemon suited to use tham are easy to find - hell, there's even an HM.

heck, HP Fire for Jolteon is good ingame if it does decent damage. If all else fails and you want another Sp.Attack, there always is Bite. :/ but go with chaos952 otherwise.

Jolteon's Attack is really low, so Shadow Ball isn't going to hit hard AT ALL.

If you fail with the HP [Special], go for chaos952's set.
