help with latios appearing

on my emerald i have beaten the E4, chosen blue lati and i have the masterball and heaps of money and max repels. i have to give my friend back his link cable in a week and i want to trade it to my LG.
does anyone have any ways of making it pop up faster with the max repel trick? is there any certain spots it works better?

Use max repel and keep sweet scenting till you have your Pokemon or just walk around!!
It wil take some time
and else just have luck

Go to any route. Use max repel, choose bike and save. When repels effect worrre off, turn off the gameboy and try with same trick. After 25-30 times, latios will be appeared.

I caught my Latios west of Lilycove, I think, next to all the trainers. It only took a couple of days for me to find it, so just keep looking around, it should appear soon enough - I didn't even use Max Repels, I was just training as normal and it popped up.

I have never used that trick before, but I never needed to. latios is always completely random, so just walk around in the grass/water.

i never used the Max Repel trick, i just got lucky one day and there was Latios! the real chances of you being on the same route as latios without knowing where he is aren't very great. just look around and hope for the best.
