help with traded pkm

heya guys i got a bunch of good pkm and i am at slateport city, with the first 2 badges...and my pkm wont obey me they are insane...falling asleep and stuff...wut can i do to make them obey, or do i need to be a t a certain part in the game...?

any advice would be GREAT!

What are their levels?

You need to have at least the 2nd badge for Pokémon over level 30 to obey, the fourth for level 50, the sixth for level 70, and eight for level 100.

k i got it down to this, every other pkm obey's fine...except Mew...he is insanly stupid, takes naps, confuses himself, hits him self, turns away, loaf's around...never hits...lol...lazy bugger...LOL!!!

There is an item called Soothe Bell. Heres its description:A hold item that calms spirits and fosters friendship.

i didnt cheat to get these they were traded to me at school...probly from a cheater though...lol

mew is lvl 25, holding soothe ball (since lvl 20) and is in the 1/6th slot in my team, i always switch pkm in fights from him to another (also since lvl20) and the girl in the pkm club place says he adore's me...but he dont obey?

Well, you typically need certain badges for traded Pokémon to listen to you.

Knuckle Badge (Brawly, Dewford Town): Makes Pokémon Level 30 and lower obey you.

Heat Badge (Flannery, Lavaridge Town): Makes Pokémon Level 50 and lower obey you.

Feather Badge (Winona, Fortree City): Makes Pokémon Level 70 and lower obey you.

Rain Badge (Wallace/Juan, Sootopolis City): Makes all Pokémon obey you.

However, that is not your problem, a legitimate Mew caught on Faraway Island by having the Old Sea Chart (which hasn't been given away at any American Nintendo promotions yet) would be at Level 30 when it is caught, and yours is lower. So, considering that Mew is basically unobtainable as of yet, and that yours it at a lower level then it should be when it is caught legitimately, all indication are that your Mew has been created with a cheating device. Nintendo put some kind of "bug" in the games that helps to identify legendaries (Mew and Deoxys) that were created with cheating devices, (this same bug also prevents these Pokémon from being able to be traded to Pokémon Colosseum) and if the absolute correct codes were not used when making these Pokémon with a cheating device, then these legendaries will always disobey you, even after you get the Rain Badge. There isn't a whole lot that you can do with your Mew. It doesn't matter how happy you make it, it will never obey you. It certainly seems like your friend has been using cheating devices, or else he is getting his Pokémon from somebody that uses cheating devices.

Jirachi must be given from a Pre-order disk that comes with Colosseum. As far as I know, that is the only way to get it.

you can obtain jirachi through pokemon channel at level 5 so maybe not all the pokemon were cheated for;385;

Not quite that easy but you can get celebi to an american game.... it requires a freeloader a japanese copy of colosseum, the japanese preorder, downloading to a japanese gameboy game and then tradin to an american version.

all of them are obviously cheated except for jirachi seeing as they're all low level (comparitvely).
Mew is notorious for being a disobedient lil dude when cheated as well as mewtwo, heck, most cheated pokemon are. The only way to get them to obey is to have the correct badges to make them obey and even then, it's not guarrenteed since cheated pokes are not very obediant

blah if your mate has emerald and obviously a cheat cartridge tell him to get mew from faraway island properly. Although the things are not released, NOT everyone can get to those events anyway so if you wouldn't be able to go anyway get a "legit" mew that way. People who just moan about cheaters should realise something..
There is two ways of cheating in pokemon. Unfair and Fair.
Unfair is when you max out stats or "randomise" stats so they are not possible stats normally. This gives them an unfair advantage.
Fair is when they cheat for items to go to areas to catch rare pokemon that are naturally generated from the game code. The same as if they got to the event anyway, thus a fair chance for stats etc. And a Fair cheater would share Fair pokemon if they truely care about the games and how they work!

Just cos someone got a cheated pokemon doesn't mean they are a bad person or that their squad is hax'd. I know Cheat devices are against the rules but I wish people would think more before they make posts making cheaters are evil people.
