Help with vaporeon

OK, what's a good moveset for Vaporeon? here's mine:

Bashful Nature
lvl 18
Hp 83
Atk 32
Def 27
Sp Atk 52
Sp Def 45
Speed 30
-water gun
-tail whip
-helping hand
-sand-attack

I need a good moveset and EVs for it before I train it too much. Also, don't ask me to change the nature, It has awesome HP and Sp Atk.

EVs: 252 defense, enough for 420 or 436 hp, rest in special attack
Nature:Bold
-Surf
-Charm/Substitute/Protect
-Wish
-Baton Pass/Ice beam/Haze/Roar

if you are wishpassing without sub, go relaxed and 0 speed DV.

charm messes up lax/gyara/ddmence

Can you fit acid armor somewhere in there?
Also I think if acid armor is OK, i'd go with
Surf
Ice Beam
wish
Acid Armor

should I have BP instead of wish?

Yes if you put acid armor in thier you should have baton pass in there so if your vaporeon gets in a hole then just baton pass. Here is what I suggest

Vaporeon
Leftovers
Acid Armor
Surf/Ice Beam
Baton Pass
Subsitute/Shadow Ball/Dig--For its weakness Electricity

Yeah that sounds better with Acid Armor, Surf/Ice Beam BP and Dig
But what should I use surf or ice beam? surf is more reusable, more PP, and it gets STAB, but ice beam is good against grass. Any suggestions?

Vaporeon has 65 base attack which means Dig is not going to do much damage, even to electric types. Shadow Ball is also a poor option on Vaporeon.

You want both Surf and Ice Beam on Vaporeon.

So, Surf, Acid Armor, Ice Beam, Baton Pass would be best in-game.

Actually, i can't get BP, because I'd have to rebreed and get eevee to lvl 36 and everything. So can I have something besides BP there? Any Suggestions?

Well, if you can't get Baton Pass, then just go with Wish instead.

Ok then, Substitute would be your best bet. Sub up, then Acid Armour and Physical sweepers should have some trouble breaking your Subs in one hit. And try and EV train in HP enough so that you can get 101 Subs.

OK, thanks! I already just taught it sub, and BTW there max HP is 464 anyway, so I don't think I'll have to worry about that. Right now I'm trying to get Def EVs, then I'll get Sp Atk.
