you knwo those banners that say "best viewed in dark type skin"? what does that mean? can somebody give an example of somebody's banner that says that?

I can't give you an example,but you can choose skins,at the bottom of the page,change to dark. That is what it means.

I've never seen a banner like that but I think it means that you should change your background to best veiw the banner. To change your background (If you didn't know), go to the very bottom left-hand corner of the screen. It should say something like Serebii.netV9.0. Then just pick another option and your all set.

Banners that have transparency and bright colours that would show up on Dark because it is dark (no ****), wheras on a neon orange or white background such light imagery wouldn't show up.
