Then you were fighting really really REALLY bad players. Also, using AR doesn’t make them better, it makes them worse since it shows they can’t even play Pokémon with legal moves.

Don't compare yourself to people that are worse than you. That's not just advice for Pokemon, it's advice for real life.

Listen to what the above people have said, especially Don’t use any HM moves on your main Pokémon except for Surf.
