Now then, we all know about the secret events that lead you to the event Pokemon: Lati@s on Southern Island via the Eon Ticket (did I get that right?), Naval Rock w/ Ho-oh and Lugia (I have no idea which pass this needs), Mew on Faraway Island using the Old Sea Map, and Deoxys on Birth Island (I think you use the Aurora ticket).

Does anyone know the context of these in-game events? (E.G. the most I could figure out is that when you show the Old Sea Map to Briney, he gets... enthused and demands that we follow it).

They are not in-game events, you had to go somewhere with your game for a limited amount of time and they would give you the item/pokemon being offered. There's no way to get any of those pokemon now without a cheating device.

I am fully aware of this. I choose the term "in-game" to refer to the fact that once the ticket/device/onus/etc. (which you get at Real-World Pokemon Events, thank you for reminding us) has been uploaded to your game, it unlocks an event in the game itself. I am asking if anyone here knows the context of these events (as in, has ANYONE here done it themselves?).
