I intended it to be 'pay', but accidentally hit 'l', by the time I realized, people had posted on the thread.

You have to look deep down to its soul(stare at its eyes)!
I'm to busy looking at the poorly photoshopped in teeth on the dog, the stupid filter applied to this picture to make it appear frightening, the dumb recolored hand, and the fake-looking bloody fingerprints outside the picture.

Thumb up = no idea how
This was very informative.

Souls are worth alot but theyre not equal. But every soul does deserve an opportunity to be worth more...

Well, I'd say nothing AND it's priceless.
But as to how far is too far?
I'll use someone in the hospital as an example... Say they were in a massive car accident and are hanging on by a thread. If they have a REAL fighting chance to live and WANT to live, go ahead and give it to them. But if saving them is going to cost so much that it will destroy their family forever and *they* don't even want to live, hell no one else does either because they were a pr*ck, take 'em off life support. It all depends on the specific situation.
But also, I honestly think a big katamari ball rolling up half the world's population and throwing it into the sun to help out with over population would be great. People suck anyway. The Nice Guy doesn't weigh more than the Bad Guy, but it sure takes a lot of him to make up for the jerk. -_-

ALSO, I assume you meant 'pay' for a soul. ;)
WHY, wanna buy mine? MAKE AN OFFER~

The human worth is $x.Because its too variable to have an actual worth. It ultimately depends on your opinion, your social values, ect.

Technically though, humans, along with all other species on Earth, are just a bunch of microbes living on the uppermost skin of the Earth, which itself is one of eight planets going around one yellow star out of 1-400 billion in one galaxy out of 100 billion of them,in the observable part of one of an immersurable number of universes in the swarm of infinity.

50 bucks to buy a hundered in bulk. (Almost there. soon the philoshers stone will be mine) In all honesty A human life should not be perserved at the cost of health to another.

I believe our identities are formed by our DNA and our environment/upraising. Based on this, I concluded the concept of a soul is relatively meaningless. You would be a different person if you were reincarnated, but the same if replicated by a robot with your brain downloaded into it. It doesn't fit together.

uhh Excadrill, that's not the point of the thread. The point is how much is one human being really worth? The title is a play on the phrase ' you sold your sou to the devill'

Back on topic: I've thought about that, but you can't really say how it fits together.
To save a group of people, no. One soul equals one soul. Nothing more, nothing less. It would be arrogant to assume that my life has more value than everyone else in the world. Not to mention that I doubt I would even care about a bunch of strangers.
So if you have to choose between saving 99 people or 100 people, which do you choose, 100?

I'm not sure I understand the question, but here goes:

In my opinion, it depends.

I don't think all humans value, to be honest.

A scientist on the verge of a medical breakthrough that would save millions of lives is surely worth more than the lazy bum across the street who begs for money and abuses others' generosity to feed his alcoholic habits.

Bit of an extreme comparison, but that's my point. Your value depends on what you can and what you have or will contribute to society.

Some people are not worth saving, to be honest. The lazy, the corrupt, the greedy all don't deserve to be saved unless they prove otherwise.

I agree! It may sound wrong, but it is true. My friends and I were discussing this the other day, but in a different form, "If you were a vampire would you kill others or starve?" I chose kill others, because like you said (before I read this, not stealing your work ;D) someone who could really benefit the world in some way is obviously worth more than other people (vampires, millions of years in medicinal/firefighter/other training to benefit the world)

Not dead yet.
Depends on who it is...
Someone like a kid should be free, or maybe expensive for being pure.
Adults... I like Oymaen's tax=worth idea, but I think it still depends, because someone like Mel Gibson could pay all the taxes in the world, he has no soul.

Depends on the soul I'm bartering for. Sorry to beat the dead horse to the ground here, but really, this is a question of ethics. Everyone deserves to live, some more than others, so no real price can be determined.
