You know how in the Battle Pyramid, a large variety of items may be available through Pickup? And Phanpy has the Pickup ability. I'm thinking Phanpy will play a pivotal role in Ash's last Battle facility. Yeah, I know it's unoriginal, seeing as it's a copy of what is happening in the Emerald manga, but I like this theory. What do you think?

Very true, over Overgrown and Static were activated then.

But as for natures, I'm not so sure.

Pick Up...well, I don't know if it was an actual ability or not, but there was a Linoone that was obsessed with collecting random items it found. Someone else can clarify that I'm sure.

As for Phanpy using pick-up? I seriously doubt it. Especially considering the facilities are just buildings with no obstacles for trainers to overcome.

I don't think they'll ever directly state Pokemon Natures, but just by looking at Ash/May/Brock's Pokemon you can see that Natures exist.

It was mentioned but Max called it the wrong term, I think he said it was an attack. But it was there, just incorrectly named ~_~

Phanpy should get some time soon or it would be pointless dumping Glalie and Torkoal for it.

Indeed, though knowing the writers they will have Ash use it in one battle coming up and have it evolve straight away.

Nice theory, but given that the battle facilities are no more than ordinary pokémon gyms in the animé I don't see why it should be different for the Pyramid.

In Japan, there was a CD Drama made about Team Rocket. It inroduced an underling by the name of Mondo who was their source for money, food, mechanical abominations, etc.

Yeah, in some episodes, it shows that Meowth can only scratch, like a normal cat. Whereas it's smart for Phanpy to have Pickup, considering it can use its trunk. And (sorry for bringing this up again, but...) since May's egg is likely to hatch into a Zigzagoon/Eevee, if it hatches into one of them, it could help out.

It's a pretty cool theory, but I think the writers will ignore the fact that the Battle Pyramid is filled with pick-up items. Why did Ash even take Phanpy along with him, he has barely used it.

Wasnt the Linoone said to be using Covet or Theif not Pick-Up? Also wasnt Cute Charm used by the Jigglypuff in one of the previous episodes? That Loudred fell in love with it. Shedinja's Wonder Guard was shown but never announced. Abilities make appearences once in awhile.
