Hey, there. Anyone happen to know what's the record for the number of times a member has let his account expire, only to join again a couple months later? Because I swear to God, I'm going to break it one of these days.
Anyway, yes, I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time this year I've joined SPPf, but I don't remember because I've lost count. Either way, this is the first time in months I've come back, hence my 13253th account on these boards was purged. Long story short, this is my newbie account. Wave hi, newbie account! *newbie account waves*
To those of you who don't know me (which wouldn't be surprising because I'm notorious for disappearing sometime before the thirty-post mark), my name is Jax. I'm a struggling writer of the bohemian artist variety, which basically means I produce crap and hope someone thinks it's cool in that vintage, urban way. I do have an account at FFNet, but I now hate the place with a burning passion nowadays and do not expect many people to acknowledge my work. (I am, in the meantime, working on a list of fifty reasons why I hate FFNet, so if you're into poor attempts at humor, give me a ring.)
Uh, I'm also a beta reader and have been told my reviews are overly critical, especially with grammar. I've gained notoriety on another board for being a "grammar Nazi" (a title I don't particularly appreciate because of my religion), and I have supposedly made little thirteen-year-old boys cry when I told them what was wrong with their story. If you don't mind concrit and would like me to look at your story, give me a ring about that too.
In addition to being a Pokemon fan (Yay Gardevoir and Haunter, yo.), I'm also a fan of Good Omens, Neil Gaiman, religious discussion, and sleeping. Yeah, big fan of that last one. There's a lot of other little things I'm into, so if you're interested in chatting, just drop me a line. I'm also up for RPing, as can be told by the fact that I run a rather massive half-crack and half-possibly overly dramatic Pokemon RP of my own. I will not advertise it in this post, but if you're interested in it or RPing with me in general, my lines are open.
