I dont want to sound harsh on the producers, because I bet they put one hell of an effort into making the cartoons and games... But who here, like me, doesnt feel much about the cartoons, but thinks the games are good... I will watch a pokemon episode If i had to, and If I had a choice between the episode or a pokemon game, I would probably take the game... What do you think???

I enjoy watching the anime. But I, unfortunately, have no access to it. I don't see what's wrong with it really.

GAMEFREAK has no say in the making of the Anime, only the Games. They have two different producers.
It's really your choice. I like the Games better, but, hey, a lot of people on these Forums like the Anime. And some like the Manga, and some like the TCG.

I gave up on the cartoon a VERY long time ago. In my humble opinion it's extremely repetitive, has a boring and pointless plot, and no likable characters.

Same here... my mum only just lets me have the games, cuz when the first ever 1 came out, I was about 7, and i was off ill from school, and we borowed a gameboy from a friend, because all we had was computers, and I was on it literally all day, I had a nightmare which I quite remeber, of pikachu using a thunderbolt and nocking me of a meteorite, and i died, I woke up screaming!!! We had 2 give the gameboy back the next day... #cry# #cry# Now i have a DS though!!! lol

The anime it's okay for like...1 half an hour episode every couple of weeks (due to most of them sucking ***), but I can play the games whenever I want and I don't get bored of them. I'd go with games.

I watch 2 episodes of Pokemon Anime everyday except Saturday and Sunday, and I watch them just because in that time I eat lunch, and so I don't have any other thing to do, otherwise, I would never watch Pokemon Anime. I like it but I think it is something like waste of time.
But the games, they're just cool. If I had to choose to get a Pokemon Game or to watch which episodes of Pokemon Anime I like, I would choose the Game, because I never get bored of it and just play it.

I dislike the anime for one reason... Ash. He needs to be killed off, or at least LOSE a battle. For Hell's sake, he beats Tucker's Arcanine and Swampert with his Corphish and Swellow. *rolls eyes*

So yes, I prefer the games to the anime. However, I do like to watch an episode from time to time... even if Ash makes me crings at the screen.want to hurl bricks at it.

Lol. I don't like the Anime that much, but the games rule.

I can't really see why anyone would pick the cartoon over the games. The GBA RPGs are the root of the entire franchise. I usually watch one episode of the show every day, but then I think to myself, "Wow. That was pretty stupid." It's a fun show to watch, but I don't think I would give up my video game time to see another repetitive episode.

i like the anime better because in the game the battle system is not that exciting as the battle system in the anime and i know games are not capable of that but i still like the anime better

...Well, I like the anime better. Being a fanfiction writer, the anime gives me characters with personalities to work with. The games are great, yeah, but with the exception of the Orre games, the personalities are rather flat. Don't get me wrong, I love the games. But if I was forced to pick, the anime would win.

Well most people who watch the show do play the games, so there's no real difference.

I'd play the games more if training wasn't BORING AS HELL.

Anyone who honestly LIKES to EP train, breed countless eggs, ride around on your bicycle for 5 hours, waste time capturing Pokemon to get the right Nature, etc. is really absurd.

It's incredibly tedious, and there's literally no fun in wasting so many countless hours doing that crap.

I really hope GameFreaks makes training easier in D/P, because the whole EP/DV/Natures/Breeding crap is THE most boring thing I have ever encountered in a videogame.
