I suck at it right now, Only can get to level 3. Once I learn to play it properly I'm sure the coins will be rolling in much faster then buying the coins.

or you can buy the coins in half the time and I loved how the slots looked and all the decorations.

I have a question

is it worse to lose by luck?

or to lose by skill and smarts?

I really hate it, I mean Really hate it. I used to be able to play the slot for about an hour and teach one of my pokemon thunderbolt or flamethrower, and this time I wanted to get a dratini. But now, this abomination appeared. UHH, I can't get it, and I don't get that "If you hate it you are just too dumb to play" thing, there is nothing I can do to get better, I can't do anything about it. If anything, this requires more luck then the slots. Why did this happen? Did someone get sued because their 13 year old snuck into an casino because they ran out of coins in diamond?

In my opinion:
Luck: less chance to win, but quick, if i do it this way i figure its my fault for not paying attenion, so i was bound to lose anyways so its not too bad(Point, point, voltorb/restart, point point restart etc)

Smarts: Takes longer, yet you'll win more, it sucks when you screw up this way because miscount, one card away....boom all gone, lost 500 coins and your smarts used for that fail >_< (Point *Think* wait no more two/threes there, point *think* Wait a full row of voltorbs are there, and this row only has one so.....Point point, *think* the only two left are ones since i got 2 2s, and the pt total is 6....etc)

Well, if they did that then they would have to get rid of the "monsters" part of "pocket monsters." Then, they would have to get rid of the "mon" of "Pokemon."

This would change the name of the game to "poke."

Obviously, the goal of the game is to poke other trainers (yes, some people actually train to poke) until they give in and pay you. You can use this money to buy useless items like finger paints or you can use it to get surgery and make your finger be made of metal! Then, you can poke people harder and be more annoying more efficiently!!! But beware, there are evil pokers that feel that fingers are merely tools rather than a gift that should be cherished. They terrorize the cities and you have to come in and save the day.

Anyway, on topic, I liked the slots.... I wish they had not removed them.

Everyone who thinks this requires just as much, or more, luck than slots is dead wrong. There's no two ways about it. There are some instances in voltorb flip where if you use a very simple strategy, you might end up with 2 cards that each have a 50% chance of being a voltorb, as opposed to slots where you have no skill to begin with.

If you look at both of these guides and still can't ever get past level 1, then uhh, i really don't know what to tell you rofl

because there's no way i'd be sitting in 50,000 coins right now if this was entirely luck based B)

I could commonly get to Level 5 and 6 once I got the hang of it. Yesterday I got Level 7, but I always ended up with only two cards left in rows that have the same numbers and everything (basically only a 50/50 chance of winning) and I got the Voltorb every single time until I dropped down to Level 4 after failing too many times.

I was upset at first, but then I got the hang of it. :P

I was a master at the slots in the original games, I am actually very sad at the fact I can't get coins super easy now, and Voltorb Flip so far sucks.
