Totodile, Cyndaquil, and Pikachu.
Ah, okay. Thanks! ^^

So now that weather is in these games, perhaps that will explain how the Lake of Rage floods? And maybe Ice Cave will have snow falling around it, and Blackthorn will have a thunderstorm....ah! The possibilities! And maybe the Whirl Islands will have fast winds and heavy rain?

who ya gonna call?
Walking Lapras?

In the beginning of the filb.de video, you can see a Lapras doing some kind of walk. Now I've said this before in another instance, but if a Lapras can walk, then an egg can hop.

Edit: Nevermind, the way I saw it made me jump to conclusions... but I still think the eggs will walk/hop with you.

Well I was watching it in low quality before Filb.de downloaded it.

Lake of Rage = Floods
Ice Cave = Snowy and Cold
Blackthorn City = Thunderstorm
Whirl Islands = Fast and heavy rain
New Bark Town = Windy

Sounds like good possibilities.

About the levels, that level 38 Feraligatr probably did go through Olivine and Cianwood. Otherwise it would go back, and the levels would be too high. The 5th and 6th gym leader would have lv 40+ Pokemon while Pryce would have Pokemon 47-50, and then Clair at 52-56, then the elite 4 would just be too high, with Pokemon 60-72, and elite 4 Pokemon shouldn't be that high. If anything, Champion Lance's highest level Pokemon should be 55, not 72 or 83 or 91 or 100.

Not exactly. o_O; You have the choice as to which path you take. The gym leaders could very easily follow the levels of Platinum's, and it would still make sense. Your argument doesn't have any ground, because you don't HAVE to battle Chuck or even Whitney, unless you want to go to the Elite 4.

I kind of wish Mahogany was blocked off until you beat Jasmine and Chuck. To compensate for the fact Pryce could be battled before either or those two, GameFreak had have low levels for all of the trainers on route 43, the Rocket Hideout, the Radio Tower, and Pryce's gym.

But people are complaining that they want higher levels, so they suggest things worse than Sinnoh's levels. Sinnoh deserves the highest levels because of the difficulty and long length of the region. Johto is very short, and having the elite 4 with Pokemon level 60+ will be insane. Not gonna happen.

Nny

Yeah, about that...
Looks like so far the only weather they may not be included is the sandstorm...

Although I'm sure they'll have sunny weather with groundon in the game.

I always wondered why it was at this part where you can get the two badges too quickly. Dx

That wouldn't be insane. They're adding in new areas, all they have to do is bump up levels of wild Pokemon, add more trainers, and we're good to go. Johto was short because they included Kanto, limiting game space. It wasn't short for no apparent reason.

Actually you have to beat Whitney inorder to get the squirt bottle which moves sudowoodo out of the way.

If Kanto's elite 4 (haha Johto doesn't have one so you have to go to Kanto...) were to have Pokemon in the 60's, they would have to add much more than new areas:

-Higher leveled wild Pokemon and trainers. The sages at the Sprout Tower will have level 7-9 Pokemon, and Falkner will have 3 Pokemon levels 10-13.
-Union Cave MUST BE LONGER!!! MUCH MORE LONGER
-SAME WITH THE SLOWPOKE WELL
-The Rocket Grunts need to be a challenge. Giovanni isn't even in the game, instead at the Rocket Hideout, you fight this cheap "as" Rocket Executive with the weakest Pokemon ever. His Pokemon should be levels 35+
-The road east of Ercuteak(sp?) City should be blocked until you get 6 badges.
-Each route will be twice as long.
-Mt. Mortar is mandatory, with tons of trainers with Pokemon levels 30+
-Ice Path will also have trainers.
-Is the Victory Road even nessecery in HGSS? The victory road is basiclly after Tojho Falls until the Reception Gate.
-IDEA: How about when you get to the reception gate, Team Rocket attacks and steals someting/does something bad and you have to go east to Virindian City, and he runs to Pewter City where there are many trainers in the way, and you right a Rocket Executive, then you can go back to the Victory Road. After you beat the rocket guy, you will be escorted to the gate and will not be allowed to go back into the rest of Kanto due to the police investigating at the gate.

Why couldn't the have the sandstorm. They could find somewhere to put it.

I wished they had more room in the carts for G/S/C it would've been much better, but you can't make excellent much better :D

And that badge let's you use strength. But do you really need or have strength during that point in the game? They should change the order in which you receive the ability to use different HMs so that you have to follow the order of the gyms and go to certain towns. (and add roadblocks that require rock smash and strength)

This way, they can add higher levels to the game. (and with a little tweaking elsewhere)

Seems like a difficult task. They only times they used sandstorm in the game was for a desert. It is obvious that they don't have a desert in johto... it doesn't show up on the map. As for kanto, I doubt they'll get one.

They could add it to the game but I can't imagine why or how.

I just thought were the desert will be! It is the place north of Ecruteak City (Just kidding I know that is the Golden Forest.) Maybe it could be in the Sevii Islands *shrugs* I don't know where.

Does anyone feel that Victory Road was sort of COMPLETELY EMPTY apart from your Rival? There definitely needs to be trainers in there this time around.

Looks like this will be the only game since FR/LG without a desert.

There has only been D/P/Pt which all feature Sinnoh since FR/LG. Isn't that big of a gap.
