Did anyone else wish that the event Mew had unlocked a little event in HG/SS? I remember when it came out in Japan and how I wanted it to unlock some back story on Mr. Fuji since he was the one who apparently met Mew on Faraway Island. It would have been cool if they had implemented that into HG/SS, but the Mew didn't really do anything. Sort of odd, considering that it had a special ribbon that hadn't been released before that point, if I remember correctly :x

Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

Did anyone else wish that the event Mew had unlocked a little event in HG/SS? Yeah, since the time for Generation 4 events is over and they'll be focusing more on Generation 5 events from now on. So it looks like Mew will be the only Generation 4 Pokemon with a Premier Ribbon. And ironically, it does absolutely nothing :c

I thought for sure that the Premier Ribbon would activate some sort of event, but it didn't do anything. Honestly, they should have just given Mew a Classic Ribbon like they gave to most of the other event Pokemon.

Kyogre and Rayquaza were the hardest Legendary Pokemon for me to capture in HeartGold. I used Master Balls on both of them :x

Not really. But those event ribbons are interesting, and the fact that the HG/SS event Mew got a Premier Ribbon instead of a Classic Ribbon is a little strange. I'm sure most people don't care since all they wanted was a Mew, but I think it's interesting to speculate on why Mew was given such a unique ribbon. It is a unique Pokemon, but so are tons of other event Pokemon that have been released, like Celebi for example.
And speaking of Celebi: has anyone else done the Celebi Time Travel event yet?

IMO, I didn't find any Pokemon hard to catch in SS. I caught Lugia with my first Dusk Ball.

There are no Gods in Pokemon. I would understand if they gave the HG/SS Mew the Premier Ribbon because it was the very first "Phantom Pokemon" in the franchise, but I know that they didn't give it that ribbon just because some fans believe that it's a deity Pokemon. Well, all I know is that I've never seen Mew as anything more than just a really rare Pokemon. I hope that I'm not alone :|

It's an interesting event, but I thought it was rather short. The battle against Giovanni was fun for a couple of minutes, but his Pokemon are rather weak, which was a disappointment. I've used the event Celebi for that Time Travel event three times so far, so maybe that's why I found it sort of boring. Anyway, Celebi has a Classic Ribbon, like most event Pokemon in Generation 4.

I'm assuming that you received the gifts from the Poke Mart late, correct? Because there isn't a way to download the HG/SS event Mew or the Enigma Stone at the moment since both events ended months ago. And now that I think about it: I still haven't picked up my HG/SS event Mew on SoulSilver version! I downloaded the Wonder Card but I never picked up the gift. I honestly don't need the Mew but I'll pick it up anyway.
