Hi! ^_^

Hello! I just started playing Pokemon for the first time ever a couple of days ago, and this website has been the most useful place I've found! Hooray for pokemon and hooray for serebii.com! ^_^ ;493;

Anyway, I have a question about what's the best set of pokemon to carry around in Firered, but I don't know which forum to post it in and I don't want to accidentally break the rules or something or post a question that's already got a thread. So where do I go first?

Welcome to Serebii! Have fun and don't give up. Pokemon games can be hard at times, but if it was too easy, they wouldn't sell very much. One of the cool things about having multiple pokemon games is you can experience with a bunch of different teams. There's no "perfect" team, so make your own special team to your hearts content. So this is a good place to get some answers, but you could go to the "third generation" forum, or the "first generation" forum. Pm me if you want to be friends (pm=private message, just in case you didn't know).

Hi!
Dont rush with your pkmn games, take it easy, and just as WackyWeavile said, create your teams to what you seem fits. But first, I say you should explore serebii a little more to learn about tactics.
