hidden power question

ok where can i find hidden power on fr/lg or r/s and is the type the same on pokemon of the same species (like ninetales's always grass)

yuo have to breed and test and repeat until you get the right one its pretty painstaking but is worth it^^

In R/S you get Hidden Power in Fortree. There's an old woman in one of the tree houses that asks you what hand she's holding a coin in. If you guess right three times in a row she'll give you the Hidden Power TM. After that you can also buy the TM at the Slateport Market.

In FR/LG you can only get it using a Pokemon that knows Pick Up.

It all has to do with IVs a stat you have to calculate and can't change so there are just set and if you don't like you have to get another guy

Its type and power depends on your IV's

I have a Modest Bellossom with a 67 power HP Fire and a Timid Sceptile with a 66 power HP Fire. In both cases it didn't take longer than 2 days of breeding (not all day lol), using the breeding shortcuts on Emerald.

well its funny I just caught a plusle w/ perfect IV's and has 70 power hidden power,maybe it has somehing to do w/ IV's?

it depends all on the iv's for example, perfect 31 iv's gives you hp dark, 30 gives you steel, and so on and so forth
