I have a question (duh) and I think this is the best place to post it.

If you put HP on a normal poke and the HP is not normal, will it get STAB or not?

on the flip side... If you put HP on say a grass type and the HP is grass will it get STAB or not?

Yes, Hidden Power gives STAB.

HP can´t be normal, but yes, you get STAB
