How will I be able to know what type, or move Hidden Power will do if I teach it to someone, I don't understand about Hidden Power, anyone know.

The main site has information on hidden power and an IV calc that tells you the hidden power of the pokemon.

Basically, Hidden Power is a move that depends ov your pokemons IV's. For example, a Medicham can have a HP Electric, which can help against flying pokemons and such. These IVs are randomly based, you can only check if you use against a pokemon.
