Hikari/Pearl

I was practicing on proportions so I decided to draw beautiful Hikari/Pearl. I pretty much got lazy with the background, so I just did something simple, and easy.

I colored, and did the lineart in photoshop.
took about 1 hour to color.

I think you should make the palm of the hand look... more like the palm of a hand

the pokeball she's holding looks like a sticker... it needs to look more real

those eyes are truly bugging me ... I dont think the eyeball should be as big as the eye

everything else is fine though... i like the hair and hat

Well the eyes are just part of my style, and it can't really be helped. Thanks anyways though.

I think you had a good approach when drawing the eyes. The style of coloring you used is excellent. But they're a little scary. I can't tell if that black dot in the middle is supposed to be the pupil or just part of the iris, but it's kind of creeping me out, and the whites are virtually invisible against her pale skin.

Also, the mouth. It looks like her teeth kind of end way before where they should (on her left side).

Anyway, it's good otherwise, except for the hand which has been pointed out already. Love the coloring.

Very pretty eyes I must say, and the colouring is excellent but I'm not too much for the hand with the pokéball, it needs revising in my opinion.

She looks gorgeous! Only thing that bothers me is something that is above her eyes. Her eyes looked different than official art of D/P female. Kudos to ya for good drawing and coloring! ^_^

Nice... And I have the same problem as everyone, the eyes kinda bug me. =/ But what you could work on is her mouth, the teeth look a bit strange, but other then that it's a wonderful picture! ^^

It's for the most part a good piece of art, but there are some things which are a bit ugly. Her skin looks overshaded in some areas; it looks like you've used some sort of effect poorly. Her hand could be more... detailed and refined... It looks sort of wonky. The face screams "Mental institution!" There are way too many lines around the eyes, giving the impression that she's angry, or frowning. There should be quite a bit more white in her eyes. While I understand the style you're trying to achieve, study manga and anime and you'll realize that despite having malproportionate eyes the characters do have some white in them. The hat is a bit overshaded too... Your background is quite good, however.
