Anybody read this manga? There are [SPOIL]23[/SPOIL] volumes in Japan, not to mention 4 in America. I like all the characters and humor in this manga. So, does anybody else like it?

Oo I thought that that manga was just a little unknown graphic novel. But yes, I know it, and I like it. It was, IIRC, the first manga I actually really liked. Unfortunately, they aren't out where I live so I can't get them. The only way I got the first one is that there was an exposition where thet imported directly mangas from the USA and you could buy whatever you wanted. But 23 you said? Darn, I wish I could get'em. But I can't read japanese, and order all the way from USA will cost quite some money. I guess I'll just have to wait til they come out here.
But yeah, the manga really has humour in it, and I found myself really disappointed when it ended. One thing I wonder though, is Sai a guy or a girl? I think he's a guy and he most probably is, but you have to admit, he does look kinda feminine to some extend.
But it's so funny somettimes we see an external view of Hikaru, and he just looks like a schizo, shouting out at thin air XD

And yes, you didn't miss anything. I didn't write about ____ being awfully attractive.

I love that manga. The story flows along just fun, the characters wonderful, and it's very funny!

I don't know much about it....but....my best friend is OBSESSED with it....he even has a cell phone w/ a hikaru no go theme....not to mention his whole xanga site and myspace is also hikaru no go themed XD i might read it soon....it sounds pretty interesting :D

Yeah, Sai is a guy. (He really scared me when I found out he wasn't a woman.)

Ahh, Hikaru no Go is one of my favorite manga out there. I just love how cute it is XD Sai is one of my favorite characters as well. The manga actually made me interested in Go. o_o

I really like the plot as well, though it's simple, it's entertaining all the same. I'd like to get more volumes, though. I think I have one through three.

I used to think Sai was a female, too. But he's just fine as a male... It just was strange to think of him as a guy after thinking he was a girl for so long. Oo

The manga was really entertaining. It's now one of my favorites, even though I haven't bought a volume yet...

You got inspired to play Go too, Minako? I haven't learned yet, but my parents are calling in all of there friends to teach me. I think their more serious about this than I am.

I though Sau was a girl to. Scared the crap out of me when I read the Sai was a boy.

Manga is indeed great. I want to learn go but haven't found a good way of learning yet.

Manga is awsome, has a nice story and some interesting conflicts. [SPOIL]Espesially when Hikaru wanted to be an Insei and Yuki wanted him to stay with the Go Club[/SPOIL]

Anyways, I kinda figured he wasn't a woman when they said "he" and stuff. But I wasn't freaked, just suprised. Imagine if it had been a woman in your mind.

The manga is interesting. It has interesting characters and funny moments.

But that's it, nothing much more. I enjoyed reading it the first time but I wouldn't read it the second time.

I recommend whoever likes this manga to check out Death Note. The manga is drawn by the same artist (excellent artwork guaranteed) and has much more in it, except less humour.

I love Hikaru No Go! I've read every chapter in Shonen Jump and would love to watch the anime sometime. It's really good and I look forward to it in SJ every month ^_^

At first I never noticed the "he", but even when I did find out Sai was a guy, and even though I heard his manly Japanese anime voice, every time I read his speech bubbles in the manga, I still imagine him with a woman's voice.

I've seen the first two seasons (I don't think they'res a third though), so I thought that this manga should be the first one I try... This is my first manga, and I'm enjoying it very much ^^

Does it go past where the DVD's end by chance?

I LIke Hikaru and Sai the best. Do you guys (who have read it) rember the part were [SPOIL]Akira found Hikaru online[/SPOIL] and they told us what Sai ment in japanese? Ill scan it for anyone who doesnt.

I also like Yuki, i dont know how i forgot him. His hair is realy cool , and his lines always rock!

The only thing I could clearly say that I bothered by in this book... Is that Hikaru Shindo is so mean to his friend that was with him when [spoil]he finds go board in his grand fathers attic.... =/[/spoil]

He seems to constantly put her down... But... I guess that's just his personality, to put down long time friends... ¬¬

She takes it well too... I personally wanted her to KO Shindo a few times... =P
