Ho-Oh Related Question (Anger quickly rising.)

Close enough. I'm still skeptical as Nintendo hasn't confirmed it but knowing them they probally never will so I'll trust Serebii's findings.
I ran Mt. Faraway solo last night with my LVL 60 Zangoose, had a tight belt on so food was no concern, I also made sure to bring my Friend Bow so I stormed right to the top of Mt. Faraway to attempt to recruit him again, here is how the battle went.
Kiira used Swords Dance!
Kiira's Attack sharply rose!
(Ho-Oh moves 1 Panel towards me.)
Kiira used False Swipe!
A critcal hit! Ho-Oh took 586 Damage!
Kiira used Slash! (They're linked.)
A critcal hit! Ho-Oh took 437 Damage!
Ho-Oh was defeated!
Yes! Ho-Oh wants to join the rescue team! Add Ho-Oh to the team?

True this is. Level higher you do not be have to. Rate Recruitment however does depend on rescue rank
A guy on GameSpot who's done a massive FAQ says Serebii's point that you have to have a higher level than the Pokémon you're recruiting is wrong. I'll test it out.
EDIT: And guess what? I recruited a Lv 29 Murkrow with a Lv 17 Electrike. So Serebii's wrong in this case.

It says right there you have to have at least Platinum or Diamond for some of these legendaries. However, previous posts in this thread have said that they've had no trouble getting the legends at a lower rank than serebii says.
Also funny how it doesn't say which pokemon require a rank too.

Serebii is just another guy (Like ourselves) who is playing through the game. He made this site and writes guides the games (Like on Game FAQ) BUT SEREBII IS NOT NINTENDO! He only says what he experiences in the game and writes about what he's learnt through playing the game. He just plays through the game and tells us what he's encountered. This mans Serebii could be just as wrong as ANYBODY. Serebii doesn't make these games and just explains everything he's found. Maybe Serebii has never recruited a Pokemon of a higher level before? Maybe he just made a MISTAKE. Serebii is not Nintendo, he's not perfect like NOBODY is. Serebii can be just as wrong as any of us. ALSO: REMEMBER THAT SEREBII WROTE ALL THE INFO ON PMD FROM THE JAPANESE VERSION. Yeah the Japanese version and stuff get's edited and as far as I know Serebii isn't Japnese. He may understand it to an extent but when you can't undertsnad it word for word like the English version then you can make simple mistakes that are overlooked when you're playing Japanese and you aren't Japanese. Maybe you did need a higher level in JAP or maybe Serebii made a silly mistake. THE FACT IS YOU HAVE TO LEARN THAT ANYBODY CAN BE WRONG OR MAKE TYPOS OR ANYTHING ALONG THE LINES! When it comes to the games the amkers know best not people who play the games and begin to think stuff. Also as I bet many of you would if you play a JAP game when you're English or American you can make mistakes.

Now I've made my unfairly harsh and over-reactive point (Blood level rising) back to the matter at hand...
Basically all you need to recruit Ho-oh is to go a 2nd time to Mt. Faraway and beat him. Regardless of level, rank or Friend Bows (Although the Friend Bows help) and beat his sorry rainbow butt.
