I went to 40 floor of Mt. Faraway, and killed ;250; , and I didn't get him. How do you get ;250; , I really want access to western cave.

yeah ya do. Its friend area is rainbow peak. Geti t and it can be recruited. Its costs like 6000 poke or something around that.

You need his friend area, Rainbow Peak. And a team size of 2 or less.

If that was your first time facing off against Ho-Oh, then you won't be able to recruit him no matter what. Like Charizard Champion#06 said, it takes a second try to recruit him (and the legendary dogs), since if I remember correctly, that rainbow turkey has a recruitment rate of 99%.

But if that was your second try, then.... You're just really, really unlucky. xD

just bring well two pokemon with you then on 39 floor send back the other and only have leader then he probably will join.

You need to have enough room. Since Ho-oh is 4 stars, you need to have 2 stars or less, and have your leader give the final whack.

You should be able to recruit him if you did that.

Yep, if you can't recruit him the second time then you should beg your GOD for forgiveness.

Or train your lead pokémon above Lv. 30 and make sure that your leader hits Ho-oh last.
