Never before did they have a storyline where someone, and the main character surprisingly, gets turned into a Pokemon.
In my opinion, this was one of the BEST Pokemon episodes ever.
I mean, first of all, the whole episode was just hilarious from start to finish. Also, the girl-of-the-day Lily was really cool. Hehe, I loved how they gave her a British accent! And the way they had to gather each of the Pokemon ingredients was really funny too. The whole scene with Team Rocket trying to get the Aipom to cry was absolutely hilarious! And I also liked how Ash volunteered to be the person to 'try' the Pokemon Mind Reading Spell.
Poor Ash, he didn't know what he was in for. XD
I do wish we could've actually seen the transformation, rather than them just hiding it with the yellow smoke (though, the fact that it was yellow smoke actually made a lot of sense).
Anyway, I like how they didn't show Ash's face right away, and instead, the camera showed us how Misty and Brock looked from Ash's point of view. That was hilarious!
And omg, the lines! I loved the lines, especially Ash's line, "What? Why are you guys lookin' at me like I've got two heads?". And then of course, there's the amazing, really-freaked-out reaction that Ash had when he saw himself in the mirror! And then he just freaked out even more when he went around in a circle like that, trying to understand how he had been turned into a Pikachu. XD
Although, I did find it a bit odd how Lily's spell book was, conveniently (for the writers anyway, lol) smudged like that. I wonder, could this mean that Ash and everyone could meet up with her again, in a future episode maybe? Hehe, that would be awesome. XD
Anyway, I'm definitely gonna have to say that my favorite part in this episode was when Ash found out that the spell would wear off eventually. He was so happy to be a Pikachu!! ^^ And the best part was that he was even saying different variations of the name Pikachu, just like if he were really a Pokemon. XD I found that simply hilarious! LOL.
So yeah, overall, this was definitely one of my top favorite episodes, just because what happened in it was very unique and had never happened in the anime before ever.
And of course, Ash was soooooo cute as a Pikachu!! I LOVE Ashachu!!!! <3

) with the potion ingredients? I was...kinda.^_^; There was one little nitpick I found; and that was when Parasect tried to put Ash to sleep. It wasn't Sleep Powder, Brock; it was Spore!(The Paras family doesn't even learn Sleep Powder!
